Besides the attractions and characters, another amazing part of Disney World is the food. Certain foods and snacks have become guest favorites and well known. Hence, the Food Bucket list below. Now read, the list of 25 you must try at Disney World. How many have you tried?
1. Turkey Leg – From the cart in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom – No silverware required with this popular snack.
2. Croissant Donut – From Refreshment Port in Epcot. A delicious cross between a croissant and a donut.
3. Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich – From Sleepy Hollow at Magic Kingdom – is served with Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread and big enough to share as a snack.
4. Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich – Comes with Two freshly made Chocolate-Chip Cookies served with your choice of Hand-scooped Ice Cream. This bucket list food item is a great value, guests get ice cream and 2 cookies (for the same price as just ice-cream elsewhere). From the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor at Magic Kingdom.
5. Indian-style Bread Service with all Nine Accompaniments – Guests receive their choice of bread: Traditional Naan, Garlic-Ginger Naan, Spiced Naan, Onion Kucha, or Paneer Paratha. Plus an assortment of dipping sauces: Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, Mango Chutney, Tomato-Date Jam, Tamarind Chutney, Coriander Chuntey, Garlic Pickle, Red Chile Sambal, or Spicy Jalapeño-Lime Pickle. Found at Sanaa inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas.
6. Churros – Find Churros served with Chocolate Dipping Sauce at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in Magic Kingdom.
7. Cinnamon Roll – From Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom. Or, find a Mickey Shaped warm Cinnamon Roll at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe at Magic Kingdom.
8. Milk Chocolate covered Pineapple – from the Main Street Confectionery on Main St USA, Magic Kingdom. Enjoy the sweetness of chocolate & pineapple together, it’s almost healthy?!
9. The “Grey Stuff” – It’s delicious! Find at Be Our Guest in Magic Kingdom. Enjoy a Chocolate Shell and Cookie Crème topped with Lumiere’s special “Grey Stuff”.
10. Tonga Toast – From Kona Café at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. It is Banana-stuffed French Toast rolled in Cinnamon Sugar and served with a Strawberry Compote and your choice of Ham, Spiced Ham, Bacon, or Sausage. Simply amazing.
11. Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse – From Satu’li Canteen found in Pandora- World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This blue treat contains Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse with Passion Fruit Curd.
12. Fish & Chips – From Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the United Kingdom pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase.
13. Mickey’s Kitchen Sink Sundae – Find this treat to share at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main St USA in Magic Kingdom. It consists of your choice of Hot Fudge, Peanut Butter or Caramel topped with Whipped Cream and two Cherries with your choice of two hand-scoops of Ice Cream.
Créme Brûlée – From Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie found in the France Pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase. This food item consists of Caramelized Vanilla Custard.
15. Mickey Premium Bar – This classic treat can be found at all 4 Disney World parks at various quick service restaurants and carts located throughout the parks. The perfect combination of chocolate shell and vanilla ice cream for a hot day.
16. Peanut Butter & Jelly Milk Shake – Find this at 50’s Prime Time Café. Sip your childhood combined in a milk shake.
17. LeFou’s Brew – From Gaston’s Tavern at Magic Kingdom. Not a “food” however this sweet drink is a must try, Frozen Apple Juice with a hint of Toasted Marshmallow and topped with All-Natural Passion Fruit-Mango Foam.
18. Sparkling Volcano – Head to the Rainforest Café for this dessert perfect for a celebration. Rainforest Café has 2 locations at Disney World, Disney Springs and Animal Kingdom. This dessert serves 3 or more and is a giant chocolate brownie cake, served warm with vanilla ice cream, creamy whipped topping and topped with caramel and chocolate sauces. Plus, as the name suggests it “sparkles”, with sparklers.
19. School Bread – If you have never tried this from Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot, it is a Sweet Cardamom Bun filled with Vanilla Crème Custard and topped with Glazed and Toasted Coconut.
20. Zebra Dome – Found on the menu at The Mara in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. This dessert is hard to explain and a must try for yourself.
21. Dole Whip – This classic treat can be found at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom. Served as either a Pineapple Dole Whip Cup with the choice of choice of Pineapple Dole Whip, Vanilla Dole Whip or Both (Swirl). Or, as a Pinapple Float, consisting of Dole Pineapple Juice with Pineapple Dole Whip.
22. ‘Ohana Bread Pudding à la mode – Found on the Dinner Menu at ‘Ohana inside Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. This sweet must try is topped with Caramel Sauce and Bananas.
23. Macaron – From L’Artisan des Glaces at the France Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. The Macaron is served as a Chocolate or seasonal Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich.
24. Caramel Popcorn – Found at Karamell-Küche in the Germany Pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase. Watch them make, then buy freshly made popcorn made with Werther’s Caramel.
25. Sundae – Specifically from Ghirardelli® Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop at Disney Springs. If you love Sundaes, pick any one from here and you can’t go wrong.
