We went to Ohana for the character breakfast May 2nd. While we had a great time and got to spend one on one with all four characters, our wait to be seated was horrible dispite having made the reservation months in advance. With a 1 and 2 year old it was extremely hard to keep them happy for an hour and half before our breakfast. If it wasn’t a character meal we would have just left and completely skipped it.

I went to Ohanas as a nanny with a 7 and 8 yr old, just the three of us. Both were a little hesitant before hand as they thought they were “too cool” for characters, but once there, they LOVED it!!! All smiles from start to finish and made their first trip to the world extra special!!! The food was spectacular and I loved the family style so there was no buffet to worry about getting the food for them or for them to get into trouble with :) Our waitress was so sweet and brought some regular OJ over for the kids as soon as we got there as they didnt like the juice (but I thought it was fantastic!!) the character interaction was the best!!! All 5 characters stopped at our table for at least 5 minutes and it was the middle of June!!! The parade was also very cute and the kids loved it!!! I cant wait to take my family back when we make our return trip!!!!

We Love this one!!! And I think I’ve figured out why…
1) yes you are getting family style, but you are getting A LOT! Eggs, Waffles, Potatoes, biscuits, bacon, sausage. Its all so yum!
2) The fruit is always fresh, my daughter fills up on the fruit haha.
3) The juice is amazing!
4) Character interaction is phenomenal and the little parade is so cute and the kids get excited for it.
5) They get you in and out of there FAST! You enjoy it but your not spending your whole morning waiting to be seated, waiting for characters, waiting for food, its all done quickly and efficiently.
6) that bread they give you is so good!
7) hop on that monorail and head over the magic kingdom for the morning!! :)
We are huge Lilo and Stitch fans and we just love the Poly! We skipped this one year thinking we’d try something new and finally went back this past summer, we won’t skip this one ever again, so worth it!

Love this!! This was our last of 9 character meals during our trip the 1st week of September. And in the top 3! Breakfast was great!!! The juice was soooo good. Great food, great waitstaff, on the quite side for a character meal — which was great for our last morning at Disney — characters were great and very patient with my two 3 year olds – very friendly too. The parade was very cute and the girls had fun doing it. Would do breakfast here again and would also love to try dinner.

The only problem we had with this restaurant was the 50 minute wait past the reservation time which didn’t include the twenty minute wait while we were there before the reservation time. So by the time we were finally seated were were very grumpy and hungry. However, the food was terrific and the characters interacted nicely with the kids.

We were in Disney in Aug. 2011 with a group of 17, this was our first time at O’hana. My hubby is a bit picky and I was surprised that he agreed to go…, can I say that it is all he talked about for the rest of our trip! We all loved the food and the service was great! I loved that it was family style made it easier for the kids so they didnt have to walk with plates of hot food! IT IS A MUST DO!!!

We went to O’hana’s for the first breakfast on our FIRST trip to Disney in April2011 and it was MAGICAL! The food was really yummy, the characters were loads of fun and it set the tone for the rest of our week! We loved the Mickey waffles and the juice too! I would totally suggest to make O’hana’s a dining priority!

I thought the atmosphere and the family style service was nice. We had about a 45 minute wait, despite having reservations, but we have learned that happens sometimes at Disney and there really isnt much you can do about it. The food was decent, but basically similar to the other breakfasts, just served differently. (with the exception of the sweet roll and juice). Fun on the dining plan, but not my favorite character breakfast.

BEST CHARACTER MEAL on property. The food is to die for, my husband agrees to keep going back to Disney vacations partly because of these sausages! So much food, it’s served family style but they replenish it as much as you want. Amazing juice and bread. YUM ! Characters are really fun~ Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto. They spent a lot of time with us and the kids loved dancing around the room with them too. Try to get the earliest seating possible and then head over to MK before opening. Best location and view.

Best juice ever!!! The whole buffet is fabulous! My family tried it recently on a recommendation and decided we would definitely be back. Plus, where else can you see Lilo and Stitch!?

Ohana Breakfast is a must do. Our family had a great time. We loved all the characters walking around and interacting with the kids. We got some really great photo’s. The food is family style and you get a lot. I loved all the fresh fruit and juice. My boys loved the mickey waffles the best. You get a family photo when you first go in which is a nice to take home.

Our family loves Ohana we have only been there for dinner but it is wonderful! We go to Disney almost every year and Ohana is definately a place we have to eat at.

This is our favorite Disney breakfast as well. We did it the last two trips. We like that the food is brought to us instead of us constantly getting in line for more food. A little more relaxing than the traditional buffet and characters too! The Ohana dinner is awesome too!
Elizabeth says
This was one of our favorites as well! With 3 kids ages 4, 3 and 16months, it was awesome not having to grab our own food from a buffet! The food was delicious (we loved the scrambled eggs too!) and the kids had a great time with the characters! We will go there multiple times on our next visit!

We all love Ohana’s for breakfast! the food is great and Stitch is my son’s favorite character. I also love that Mickey is there. We go there around my son’s birthday and they bring him a cupcake (yes, at breakfast) and a card signed by all the characters! I also love the family style food. Liberty tree tavern (Magic Kingdom( used to have character dining and has great family style food too, we still eat there even though they took away the character dining.

This sounds great! We had reservations to this breakfast during our vacation 2 weeks ago. My son ended getting the flu the night before the breakfast so we had to cancel are breakfast reservations. We will definately make this breakfast at our next trip.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Ohana! It is our favorite by far (with Crystal Palace coming in a close 2nd). We have eaten their for all 6 of our DW trips. Our last trip we ate there the morning we left. Just to give us one last sweet memory.

We love Ohana, our last trip was the first time we had this chracter breakfast, we have the cutest picture of our 3 year old son kissing Mickey’s Nose!! It is a very stress free environment & the food is wonderful!! We are going again in May & this was a must do again (of our 6 character meals)………and how can we get that wonderful juice at home!!!
Leatha says
My family LOVES O’hana’s!! The food is so good. We love the fact that it’s family style and all you can eat! We had breakfast at O’hana’s in November 2008 and the food was outstanding, the character interaction was wonderful and the value of how much food you get for the price compared to other character meals is great. We didn’t get to visit O’hana’s on our most recent trip (Feb. ’11) but we definitely plan on eating there for our next trip. My twin boys who are 12 now still talk about this meal (mango juice & all you can eat bacon) plus the fun character interaction and they’re almost teenagers! I think that says a lot about O’hana’s food and atmosphere.:)

I had a reservation for breakfast but finally reserved a time for dinner after searching for weeks for a time to open up. Has anyone ever been there for dinner?
Kim says
Dinner is great. Family style all you can eat. Its all delicious. For dessert you can order shaved ice in sand pails with shovels for the spoon. My kids loved it. We already have a reservation for June.
Jill says
Thanks so much! After reading all of these posts I am wondering if I also should make a reservation for breakfast! However, with the spring break crowds I am too scared to sit down for breakfast. :)
Megan says
We ate dinner there in December and the dessert was bread pudding with a yummy caramel sauce poured over the top- no mention of shaved ice. But it was definitely our favorite dinner out of all 6 that we had. My 12-year-old just mentioned it a couple of days ago and said she can’t wait to go back there!

We ate breakfast at O’hana on our last visit to WDW (September ’10) & we thought it was great. We especially loved their scrambled eggs, of all things! We overheard the man seated next to us say out loud “These are the best eggs I have ever eaten” … and we had to laugh because we had just said the same thing!
Kim says
We ate there on our trip in March 2009.We LOVED it. One of my twins loves Stitch and even though she is older it was priceless to see her face when Lilo and Stitch started fighting over her Stitch bag. I didn’t start taking my kids until 2008 and they aren’t little but the memories have still beenPRICELESS

We have been to Disney as a family 4 times but just ate at Ohanas this past visit. Wow we were missing out – it was awesome!! The food was amazing, the view incredible, the staff so helpful and the characters – especially naughty Stitch – were great with my 2 young kids. This will be one of the first reservations I make when we go back in April 2012, can’t wait!!

We LOVE Ohana as well!! We have been there twice and have reservations to go again in June. It is a favorite for sure and it is one of the least stressful character meals we have been to. No getting in line for your food to look over and see Mickey arriving at the table. We also love Stitch and he is my sons favorite so it is perfect. The food is wonderful. I would also be curious to know if you can get the sausage gravy for the biscuits! :) We also love the atmosphere of the resort and have some amazing family photos from the wonderful scernery at the resort itself. 5 stars for Ohana from us!!
Cindy says
We ate at Ohana for breakfast on our last trip and loved it. It was definitely one of our favorites. I loved how it was served family style (no having to worry about getting up as you would at a buffet). I like to try new things, so this year we are going back for dinner.
Kim says
Ohana is one of my favorites at breakfast and dinner. I always make a point to go here if I am in the “World”. There is always something fun going on. I have heard you can get sausage gravy to go with the biscuits but was always to nervous to ask. Does anyone know if its true?

They have the best juice. It is so yummy.
