Can my child get a makeover to be a character at Magic Kingdom?
Magic Kingdom offers two options for “makeovers” for children at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or the Pirates League at Magic Kingdom. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is located in Cinderella’s Castle and the Pirates League is located in Adventureland, just off of Pirates of the Caribbean. Both of these locations offer packages for both boys and girls, and a variety of price ranges as well. They do require reservations. Your child will LOVE either of these makeover experiences!
Can I see Once Upon A Time from the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party?
Yes! In fact, getting a reservation for the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party is a great way to get a seat for both the Once Upon A Time and the showing of Happily Ever After! The plus side, you also can enjoy a buffet of amazing desserts! You do need Advance Dining Reservations for the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party, and it needs to be paid in full at the time you book it.
We only have one day to spend at Magic Kingdom. How do you suggest we spend our time?
Magic Kingdom is a HUGE park! That being said, before you visit, I’d study the park maps and plan on arriving at Rope Drop. Plan on doing a concentrated area of the park for the morning hours-for example, Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. Get some lunch, and then try to visit Adventureland and Frontierland. If possible, schedule your FastPass Plus for attractions in the afternoon, when the park tends to be busier. Perhaps have dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern or Tony’s Town Square before grabbing a spot for Wishes and the Main Street Electric Parade.
What time is the opening show at Magic Kingdom?
The train rolls into the Main Street USA station about half an hour before the park is scheduled to open, if there are no Extra Magic Hours. The train is full of characters welcoming you to Magic Kingdom, and this show is not to be missed! It makes the perfect start to your Disney day at Magic Kingdom!
Where is the best parade viewing spot at Magic Kingdom?
Main Street USA is my favorite viewing spot for any parade and Wishes while at Magic Kingdom. It is also the most popular and sometimes the most crowded. Liberty Square is another excellent spot to watch both Wishes and the Main Street Electric Parade, as well as the new Festival of Fantasy Parade. Just across from the flag pole in Liberty Square is another excellent spot for the parades and Wishes.
