If you’ve got little princesses of your own, chances are their number one priority is going to be meeting other princess, be they mermaids, magic carpet riding, or born with freezing powers.
The good news is, Walt Disney World makes it very achievable to encounter as many of your favorite princesses as you’d like! Across the four parks, princesses have meet and greets and dine with subjects. The locations will vary, with some princesses meeting indoors for the entire day, and others meeting outdoors during a specific time slot. Some princesses seem to be everywhere, while a few only meet in one place.
But that’s not all! You can also indulge your royal side with a princess meal at a deluxe resort, or ride their attraction 700 times, or watch their Broadway style stage shows, or wave to them as they parade by. The princess possibilities are so much more than just a meet and greet. You can fashion entire park days, even entire vacations, around your little one’s favorite princesses. By knowing where your favorite princesses are, you can craft the perfect plan to meet them all before you turn into a pumpkin.
The Disney Jr. princess, Elena of Avalor, is not technically not part of the “Disney Princess” Line up, but I had to include her because she’s still royalty. Since she’s not part of the “Big Ten” (Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Merida, Mulan, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Tiana, and Snow White) or one of the biggest stars in the Disney sky (looking at you, Anna and Elsa), her opportunities are a little more scarce. But if you pre-schooler loves this princesses, there are still some fun options available.

The most illusive Disney princess shares a royal receiving hall with Cinderella. You can meet these two usually from when the park opens to about 30 minutes before closing, but be sure to check the Character Times Guide. Because this is the only place in the parks to find Elena and she is a popular character, the lines can get long.

My Take: Ok, there is a reason this is one of the most popular meet and greets at all four parks. I have never heard of a person who had less than an AWESOME Elena encounter. Every single person I know who has visited the Avalor royal has said the same thing, “It was like we were talking to the real Elena!”
And a good thing too, because she has a lot to say! Elena is very engaged and engaging, a talkative and enthusiastic princess. Even if your little one isn’t a big fan of her show, it’s worth meeting her just for the fun experience. She’s that cool of a character. Bonus princess alert: Elena shares her greeting hall with Cinderella, so you’ll get two princesses for the price of one.
I love that Elena has a place in the parks, since she is such an important character for a lot of younger fans, as only the second Disney Jr Princess (after Sofia the First) and the first Latina princess. Elena is the only Disney Jr. character to meet at the Magic Kingdom, so meeting her is a great option if you’ve got little ones in your party.
