If you’ve got little princesses of your own, chances are their number one priority is going to be meeting other princess, be they mermaids, magic carpet riding, or born with freezing powers.
The good news is, Walt Disney World makes it very achievable to encounter as many of your favorite princesses as you’d like! Across the four parks, princesses have meet and greets and dine with subjects. The locations will vary, with some princesses meeting indoors for the entire day, and others meeting outdoors during a specific time slot. Some princesses seem to be everywhere, while a few only meet in one place.
But that’s not all! You can also indulge your royal side with a princess meal at a deluxe resort, or ride their attraction 700 times, or watch their Broadway style stage shows, or wave to them as they parade by. The princess possibilities are so much more than just a meet and greet. You can fashion entire park days, even entire vacations, around your little one’s favorite princesses. By knowing where your favorite princesses are, you can craft the perfect plan to meet them all before you turn into a pumpkin.

Take a spin on the Liberty Square Riverboat in the Magic Kingdom or grab dinner at Paddlefish in Disney Springs, a restaurant located inside an anchored paddleboat.

My Take: Tiana is a uniquely American princess, as well as the most modern! Her story takes place in Louisiana in the 1920’s, so she exists at a real time in our nation’s past. I love that little princesses have a role model who is a part of our country’s history. The architecture at Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter, based on real buildings in New Orleans, the riverboat at the Magic Kingdom, even the awesome flapper costumes worn by Tiana and Naveen in Mickey’s Friendship Faire are all historically based. This presents some great opportunities for educational exploration. If you’re missing school for a Disney trip, homeschooling, or just like history, Tiana might be the princess for you.
A fun resort option for Tiana fans would be the royal rooms at Port Orleans Riverside. Those rooms are decked out in all things princess, including a light up headboard that creates an enchanting scene from “The Princess and the Frog.” Upon check in at the Royal Rooms, guests will even receive a personalized scroll from Tiana herself! These rooms do have an uncharge from the standard rooms at Port Orleans Riverside, but the gorgeous, detailed theming might be worth it for a truly magical stay. The only things this room is missing in the trumpet playing alligator.
Tiana only meets at the Magic Kingdom, which is a bummer because character interactions with her are always fun and sometimes even instructional! The last time we saw her, she gave the Glass Slipper some great advice about saving money. Personally, I would love to see her added to the lineup at Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus. I mean, the American Pavilion is just beginning for a spot for this hard working princess and her Southern hospitality.
