Looking for a Be Our Guest Restaurant lunch review? Be Our Guest Restaurant is open for lunch from 11 am to 2:30 pm each day. You can book your reservation 180 days in advance either by phone at 407-WDW-DINE or online at MyDisneyExperience.com.
You can select your food ahead of your visit on MyDisneyExperience or when you get to the restaurant.
When you get up to the podium, you will be given a rose or instructed to use your MagicBand. Take the rose to the assigned kiosk to select your food. Each kiosk has an interactive screen where you can see pictures of the entrees, desserts and sides. Begin with one person in your party and add what they would like to the order and then proceed with everyone else’s. This will make the ordering process less stressful. Use the keypad to either pay using the dining plan or charge it to your room. You’ll then tap the rose to the keypad to sync it with your order.
Once you have completed your order, you can now select a table in any of the 3 dining rooms. I suggest you walk through each room before you decide where you would like to sit.
- Grand 2-Story Ballroom – This is the first room you come to. It features floor-to-ceiling arched windows that overlook a French countryside. Sometimes you will even see it snowing!
- West Wing – Located to the left of the Grand Ballroom. This room is dimly lit and features the Enchanted Rose in the corner. Every few minutes, it thunders and the picture above the mantle will change.
- The Rose Gallery – Located to the right of the Grand Ballroom. It features a beautiful dancing statue of the happy couple.
Once seated, place your rose on the table along with your receipt. The rose will transmit to the kitchen where you are seated and what you ordered. If you used the MagicBand it will also transmit. You are now free to get up and visit the beverage station to fix your drinks. Did I mention that this restaurant has free refills?
Within a few minutes, a Cast Member dressed in an attractive purple costume will arrive at the table with your food order. Sit back and enjoy lunch with your family and take your time relaxing in this beautiful restaurant. Don’t forget to take pictures! Disney really went all out with the theming in this restaurant.
The Food
Here is what we ate at Be Our Guest during our lunch visit.
Croque Monsieur – Possibly the best sandwich I have ever had. It is a Grilled Sandwich of Carved Ham and Gruyere Cheese and Bechamel with Pommes Frites.
Braised Pork (Coq Au Vin Style) – This was an absolute delicious meal that really stuck with husband for the rest of the afternoon. It is a Eight Hour Slow-cooked Pork with Mushrooms, Onions, Carrots and Bacon served with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans Jardiniere.
Carved Turkey Sandwich Kids Meal – Emily really enjoyed this sandwich. It is a Carved Turkey Sandwich on Multigrain Bread with Sweet Potato Wedges and Peach Applesauce.
Whole-Grain Macaroni – Jacob ate this and he struggled with it. He was not a fan of macaroni with red sauce. It is a Whole-Grain Macaroni with Marinara Sauce and Mozzarella served with Seasonal Vegetables.
For dessert, we got the Triple Chocolate Cupcake which was delicious! You can also get The Master’s Cupcake which is topped with the “Grey Stuff”. You know the song lyrics “Try the Grey Stuff, it’s delicious! Don’t believe me? Ask the dishes!”
I would love to know what you ate when you visited Be Our Guest and what you thought of it!

When I go to the link, I tried to type in my Disney Reservation for my hotel. Is that the Reservation ID they are looking for? For some reason, it will not let me type in letters, only numbers?
marlene says
try using the resort reservation number not the confirmation number, yes they are different. the one you want only has numbers..
Emily says
Where do you find your resort number? I have looked at my reservation and can’t find it.

I’m sorry to say but we ate here (on our Moms Trip) and it was the most disappointing meal we had all week. One of us ordered the quiche and salad and the other ordered the Croque Monsieur and fries. The sandwich and fries were ice cold and the quiche was warm but not hot. We split each of the entrees so we could each taste both. It took a long time to get our food and we did not have the rose as we were using fp+ (We asked but were told they would some how find us. When the castmember came our way with the cart she mentioned she “thought she had our food.” I guess that should have been the clue. We chose the chocolate cupcake and the lemon cupcake and both were good. Hooray!!!! Don’t expect large cupcakes as in other locations as they were small in comparison. Sorry I can’t agree with others. We were looking forward to a great meal but it didn’t happen. Hope others have more luck than us.

We had lunch here back in October and everyone liked the food. We all got one of each of the deserts and shared, they are so sweet we had leftovers. We will definitely be going back.

We have eaten here 4 times I believe. The food is always good. But if you are gluten free and dairy free there is only one option really to eat and that is the quinoa salad. Luckily it is very good and I don’t mind having that everytimes. There are no dessert options if you can’t have dairy or gluten either. They do have a gluten free cream puff that my daughter who has celiacs also but can have dairy absolutely loves. My husband and one daughter always get the slow cooked pork. My other daughter always tries something new. One time she had the pasta and the portion was really small and she was still hungry, the next she had the roast pork, and she has also had the mickey meatloaf. She loved the mickey meatloaf and I just finished booking my fastpass plus for may 30th when we are going back and she picked the mickey meatloaf again so I know she liked it. My husband tries all the desserts and he says they are all delicious. They also all come looking so pretty you almost don’t want to eat them. It is a good restaurant and the food is always good I just wish they had a few more options for people with food alleriges. When you are on the dining plan it comes with a dessert and there is nothing here I can even get. Of course my family doesn’t mind having to eat my dessert but I would like a treat too.

If you follow the link to make a reservation – what do enter for the reservation id?
Cindi says
I’m wondering the same thing, as it doesn’t allow letters, and my confirmation is a mix…
Emily says
I found the same thing. Wondering what it is too. Can’t put any letters.

There is something about logging into your My Disney Experience Account and where you click make reservations if you just hover your mouse over it instead of clicking it’s suppose to show a code there. That’s the code you have to use to make the reservation. Or so I’ve been told! I hope it works because my window opens Tuesday for reservations!

We just returned today (booooo) from the wonderful land of Disney! We lucked up and happened to be strolling by Be Our Guest just before opening. We got in line and waited, and were very excited. When all the staff came out to welcome everyone in with a loud “Be Our Guests!” and then applause as everyone enters, we just became even more excited! The food was BEYOND wonderful, and the service amazing. But the best part for me? They had FRESH BREWED TEA! Not that stuff (gold peak) that they try to pass as real brewed tea. I was overjoyed, even though I still had to add my own sugar, it was WONDERFUL!
We had the Croque Monsieur and the pork. It was all great, and the desserts were awesome! I can now say I have had the “Grey Stuff”….
Amazing trip and already planning our next trip!
Brienne says
Do you know how this works with Fast Pass? Is there a separate line?
Shelley says
With the fast pass there is a little window you check into. Then you get to skip the line altogether and go straight to the umbrella where they let you in the restaurant. You will still have to wait a few minutes once inside because then you are in the regular line. But with the fastpass plus you get to pick your meal in advance so when you get in you just enter your payment and head to the table. It is really easy. And bypassing that huge line is awesome!

For some reason I can’t leave a response to Tiffany’s question!
Lunch is considered quick service and dinner is table service
Tiffany Brown says
Thank you :)

We had lunch here on our last trip and we all loved it. Between the five of us we had the braised pork shank (not sure they even still serve it), the grilled steak sandwich (again not sure if they serve it still), turkey sandwich and the Nicoise Salad. For desert we had the Lemon Meringue Cupcake, Strawberry Cream Cheese Cupcake. There was no option at the time of our trip for the Master’s Cupcake and absolutely no chance to get the Grey Stuff even though we were celebrating three birthdays.
Erin says
We absolutely loved BOG. We had Fastpasses for our first lunch and had such a great lunch that we waited in line for our 2nd day. My sister and I called it the Crock Monster and it was delicious. My daughter had the grilled cheese and tomato soup both times we went there and loved it. We ate in the grand ballroom the first time and then the rose room the 2nd. We visited the West Wing but my daughter thought it was scary.
Tiffany Brown says
Does the count as a quick service or seat down in the dining plan?
Lindsey says
During lunch it is quick service and dinner is sit down
