Fund check-in time!
My sole deposit this week was a welcome surprise. The second week of the month can be a little light on savings progress. I’ve cashed out most of my other apps the week before, and my budget rollover doesn’t officially go into the fund until the end of the month.
So imagine my joy when I got a PayPal notification that Ebates had made a payment of $7.30! I love app deposits like this. I’ve set up all my apps to make payments directly into a savings account. I’m never tempted to touch it. By the time I know the money exists, it’s already all cozy in my Disney Fund.
Do you take advantage of apps like Ebates or purchasing things through Swagbucks? It is an easy way to earn cashback on money you are already planning to spend. Free money! Make sure to check out Saving to Disney for more tips on how to stretch your dollars as far as they can go.
Total Goal: $3500
Deposits: $7.30 (from Ebates)
Still Need: $3402.12
How is your fund coming along? Any free money make it to you this week? Tell me all about it in the comments!
