We’re in the money, we’re in the money, and we will use our dough on Mickey Bars galore…
Was the song I sang to myself as I took pictures for this week’s fund deposit.
I don’t know about ya’ll, but where I am, it is finally spring. The rain has cleared, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, the tank is clean… ;) That can only mean one thing: SPRING CLEANING.
As our princesses transition out of babyhood and into little girldom, we can sell some of their baby stuff. In my experience, well taken care of clothes, toys, furniture, and accessories can sell quickly and be profitable. And when I say “in my experience” I mean my experience as of last week! This was my first time selling stuff at a neighborhood garage sale, and it went better than expected.
Cue the music. We’re in the money, we’re in the money…
Total Goal: $3500
Deposits: $150
Baby Items Sale: $100
Mother’s Day Gift from family: $50
Still Need: $3252.12
Do you regularly use yard sales and Facebook groups to sell off your Spring Cleaning treasures? Are you a newbie, like me? I’d love to hear about your successes (or questions!) in the comments.
