Avoid these 5 mistakes guests make at Epcot:
1. Choosing the wrong Fastpass+ for Tier 1 – You are only allowed to choose to book a Fastpass+ for Soarin’, Test Track or Frozen Ever After. Make your choice wisely! If you plan to ride Frozen Ever After, make sure you are logged in at exactly 7 AM EST on the 60th day before your trip to book it.
2. Going the wrong way in the World Showcase – The majority of Guests go left towards Mexico (clockwise) when touring the World Showcase. Go right towards Canada instead to experience lower crowds.
3. Trying to do it all in one day – To enjoy both Future World and the World Showcase break up the park into these 2 sections when visiting. Consider taking a mid-day break and enjoy one half in the morning and the other in the evening.
4. Not planning for the festivals – There are 2 different big festivals at Epcot during the year. Flower & Garden takes place in the spring and Food & Wine takes place in the fall. Both festivals have kiosks that serve snacks from around the world. Save your snack credits for the festivals and use them on snacks priced $5 or more!
Festival of the Arts and Festival of the Holidays also have food booths, but not quite as many.
5. Skipping the entertainment in the World Showcase – Most countries have special performances by natives. These range from bands to acrobats and everything in between. Take the time to catch a few of them and I promise you won’t regret it!

UPDATE! :) There is a new festival that started this year, and will be returning in 2018. It takes place in January/February (and likely will again in 2018). It is the International Festival of the Arts. I LOVED it this year and due to it’s success will likely expand next year! :)

I agree with 4 out of 5 of your suggestions. Ellen’s Energy Adventure is amazing! I’ve seen it many times and am always amused. It’s a great place to take a rest when you’ve been running all over the park all day.
