Jones Family Travels Goes Parasailing at Disney World
Did you know you can go parasailing at Disney World? Sammy Duvall’s Water Sports at Disney’s Contemporary Resort offers Parasailing, Water Skiing, Wake Boarding, Wake Surfing, Tubing and Personal Watercraft rentals. When you fly, you’ll get a bird’s eye view of the Walt Disney World®Resort to create lifelong memories. Guests describe the feeling of flying as peaceful but exhilarating all at the same time. At Parasailing at Disney World can be booked as a single (one guest) or tandem (two guests flying together). Sammy Duvall’s offers “state of the art” parasail boat allows guests to take off and land right from the boat, which means you don’t even get wet!
Parasailing at Disney World Requirements (From Sammy Duvall’s Website)
*All fliers must be over 6 years old.
*We require at least 130 lbs. and no more than 330 lbs. total weight in the parachute.
*If a flier is under the minimum requirement, he or she may accompany another child or adult to reach the minimum weight.
*The Parasail boat is certified to carry up to 6 guests, flyers have priority. If there is room, extra riders can come along at no extra charge. Riders are NOT guaranteed and selected on a first come, first serve basis.
* Photo Package must be requested prior to Parasail Flight. Photo Package is $25 for a Single or a Tandem Flight and $40 for multiple Flights. Package includes 30-50 photos of your experience, captured with a Cannon Rebel XSi on a 2 gig SD memory card that is yours to keep.
*Minors under the age of 18 must have an adult present to sign waivers prior to departing on your trip.
*7 days a week weather permitting.
*Summer season flights depart every half hour between 9am and 4:30 pm. March 15th- September 14th.
*Winter season flights depart every half hour between 10am and 4:30 pm. September 15th- March 14th.
