If you are staying off-site or will be driving your own car, you will need to know about parking at the Magic Kingdom.
When you approach the Magic Kingdom, you will either have to pay for parking or show your annual pass or your resort’s parking pass for free parking. Once you pay for parking at one theme park, you will not have to pay at another theme park for the duration of that day as long as you show your receipt.
The parking lot is located across Bay Lake from the theme park. You will be directed into the lot by parking attendants. Follow each attendant and they will park the cars in order. This cuts down on you having to drive around and around looking for a spot.
Once you are out of your vehicle, walk towards the top of the row where the attendant is stationed. Be sure to take a picture of your parking row! You can then wait on the tram to pick you up to carry you to the Ticket and Transportation Center. Here you can travel by Monorail (I suggest the Resort Monorail) or Ferry to the Magic Kingdom.
If you have a valid disability parking permit, you will be directed to a designated parking area close to the entrance to the Ticket and Transportation Center.
The current cost for parking at a Walt Disney World theme park:
$25 for vehicles
$30 for Oversized Vehicle Parking: Shuttle, Limo, Camper Trailer, RV, Bus or Tractor Trailer
$50 for preferred parking (guarantees you a spot near the entrance)
