Some say, bringing young children to Disney World is not worth it because they will not remember. However certain memories do stay with children for a lifetime. Furthermore, the bonding time and enjoyment during a Disney vacation is truly magical. To Plan your Unforgettable Disney World Vacation For Your Little One, read these 8 tips.
Disney World Resort
The first step to creating an unforgettable Disney Vacation for your little one, is picking where to stay. I highly recommend staying on-site, at a Disney World Resort. They offer resort options for various budgets from Value to Moderate and Deluxe. All Resorts contain over the top Disney theming with magical little touches, and keep guests immersed in Disney Magic their entire stay.
Early Start
Take advantage if your child is an early riser (as many are) to get to the parks early. Arrive at rope-drop (park opening) and enjoy those glorious morning hours before the parks fill up for the day. Read more about Rope Drop.
No Height Attractions
Even if your little one will not measure up to certain height requirements, there is much else to see and do. This includes attractions with no height requirement, Character Meet & Greets and shows & entertainment.

Character Dining Meal
Consider adding a Character Dining Meal during your vacation. These sit down meals provide a delicious meal and the chance to meet & greet with multiple Disney characters. Characters will come around to guests while they dine, for autographs and photos. Read my top picks for a Character Meal.
Water Park Day
Children are drawn to water, therefore a day at a water park is a perfect fit. Disney World is home to 2 water parks: Typhoon Lagoon & Blizzard Beach. Both offer play areas especially for children and water slides the whole family can enjoy. Not sure which one to choose? This post on Blizzard Beach vs. Typhoon Lagoon will help you decide.
Dessert Party
Fireworks through the eyes of a little one are magical. However, unless you want to wait hours for a great spot, little ones can have a hard time seeing the eye-level displays. Consider, a Dessert Party which for a cost where guests enjoy an array of delicious eats and a VIP viewing area for a fireworks spectacular. Read 6 Disney World Dessert Parties compared by cost, views and special experiences.
Don’t Plan Every Moment
It is tempting to plan an itinerary with little breathing room, since there is so much to do and see. However, allow for flexibility and some time to just explore. You may be surprised at a little nook you find or something you never noticed before. Magical Moments tend to be the unplanned one, or even when plans have gone array.
