We are traveling with extended family {grandparents who have never been to Disney}. What is a fun first night activity our family can enjoy together?
A fun first night activity would be the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. This fun experience launches from Disney’s Contemporary Resort. During this cruise, you venture out on Seven Seas Lagoon with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee along with their pirate pals for an adventure. Before you set sail, you can enjoy snacks and drinks. Then, you are set for an amazing view of Happily Ever After from your ship. You do need to prepay for this voyage, and it’s a good idea to reserve your spot 180 days in advance.
What is an In Room Celebration? And how do I reserve one?
Disney Floral and Gifts offers In Room Celebrations for almost every special occasion! Welcome Celebrations, Romance, Birthday are among the most popular ones. They will deliver and set it up right in your resort room! Disney Floral and Gifts is amazing with helping you create the perfect welcome gift and in room celebration for your Disney trip.
May I purchase the First Haircut package at the Harmony Barbershop for my child who is over the age of 2?
Yes! There is no age limit for the First Haircut package. And if you book it for your child, he or she gets a cute pair of Mouse Ears and a fun certificate!
What fun activities can I plan for my two teenagers while we are at Disney?
When kids are teens at Disney, they like to venture on their own, right? It would be nice to start the day together and then after lunch, let them go off around the park on their own while you and your spouse enjoy some time together. For teenage girls, a spa session at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa {Senses} can be a very fun experience! And for the boys, perhaps a catch and release fishing excursion, or the Sammy Duvall Watersports experience would be enjoyable.
We have been to Disney numerous times, and we are looking for a unique experience for our 11 year olds. Do you have any suggestions?
The Richard Petty Ride Along Experience would be great for them! Children ages 6-13 are invited to ride along in a Piston Cup style car. Another fun experience would be surf lessons at Typhoon Lagoon. These are available to guests 8 and older, and last about 2.5 hours.
