Here is Laila’s Spirit of Aloha Review.
Our family had such an amazing evening celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary at the Spirit of Aloha dinner show at the Polynesian, I felt like it was a must to share the details.
When I booked the reservation I was able to use our AP discount for an immediate 20% off which was an instant WIN!
I was informed that it was an all you can eat and drink dinner. A few things I would love for people to know before going are:
The earlier you check in does NOT mean a better seat. We were told that and checked in nearly an hour prior to only to find out seats were already assigned. I would advise checking in 15-30 mins prior. This will give you time to walk around and get a few pictures. After check in you will be directed to the Luau area holding place. At 8:15pm they will guide you to your seat.
At our table there was a basket of pineapple coconut rolls with a platter of sliced pineapple, an amazing mandarin salad and island noodles as our starters.
There was ice water as well. We had been told by someone that there was a 5 drink limit, that is NOT TRUE. The soda, beer, wine is all unlimited. For adults our choices were Yuengling and Bud light and then Sangria and white wine. All liquor bevs are additional.
Our dinner platter was: Chicken, ribs, pulled pork, rice and veggies. We were blown away by how flavorful and delicious the food was.
When you’ve had enough they bring you a delicious piece of cake and cupcakes for the little ones.
Now for the show… Again blown away … They performed throughout our meal and just when we thought it was over we had to get ready for the main performance. My children 9 and 6 were dancing and cheering the whole way through. We were so entertained and overwhelmed with joy being there. I would recommend this dinner experience to everyone, giving it a 10/10.
We sat next to the sweetest couple and enjoyed their company throughout the show even had the pleasure of meeting the cast and performers at the end of the show after learning they were the parents of one of the performers.
