Sometimes I see pictures of other Target’s clearance, and it’s like, 70% off and everything is in neat lanes and the aisles are well organized and I’m like, “Oh, I want that in my life.
When clearance time hits my Target, it literally turns into the Hunger Games.
I volunteer as tribute.
However, I enjoy when things get a little picked over. I always find my best stuff at the end of the sales. The thing I didn’t know I wanted until I saw it was hidden behind eighteen seasonal wall calendars and it took everyone else buying those calendars at 50% for me to score the thing I ended up loving at 70% off. A tale as old as time.
50% for food and 70% for merch, so grab what you want, because your store might not make it to 90%. I think I was there is the middle of price change because some things were scanning at 50% and others 70%, with no rhyme or reason. Speaking of scanning… You know my motto: Always be Scanning. When the discounts get this deep, some stores may not have time to put out the right signs, or some things might be in the wrong place.
Easter is coming.
