If this is your first trip, there are some things to know about meeting characters at Walt Disney World.
How much time should you budget for character meets?
Most character lines are about 20 minutes. Before you get in line, count the number of families in front of you and plan for about 2 minutes per family. We usually won’t get in a line if it has more than 10 families in it already.
If there are multiple characters in a certain places (like characterpalooza at Hollywood Studios), is each line individual, or can you go to each like the next link on the chain?
Each line will be individual with their own wait times. The characters the furthest back will have the shortest lines. If the Cast Members allow it, go to the furthest character and work your way backwards.
