Park time is precious while at Disney World. Save time by avoiding lines, this goes for entering parks as well. The goal is to look for an empty or shortest line. Learn these tips and secret entrances of Disney World for shorter entrance lines.
Tip – Do not follow crowds, examine every line available rather than just following the crowd. Often times, all the way to the left will be shorter.
PLUS, if you see a turnstile labeled “Cast Member”, guests may still enter. Cast Members are only allowed to use these to enter, however it works for guests as well and most often the lines are shorter.
Magic Kingdom:
Entering the Magic Kingdom is now further from the original park screening. New opening procedures:
- There is now a screening location at the Ticket & Transportation Center.
- Guests arriving by monorail – screened at monorail load areas in their resort.
- Guests arriving by water, are screened at Magic Kingdom docks.
- Guests arriving by bus are screened near bus station.
By dividing the checkpoints it allows for a smoother entrance process. Then guests head to the touch points entering Magic Kingdom. Remember to look all the way to the left and right, for shortest line when entering.
