I asked the SavEars and they chimed in with the top 10 attractions Guests wished they had skipped at Walt Disney World:
1. Kali River Rapids
- I don’t like getting soaked on rides and then walking around unless it is hot out to dry quick. – Sara
2. Mission Space
- Mission Space. Did that one before they had the easy side. Felt sooo sick after. Wont even try the easy side for fear of it. – Brienne
- We still haven’t done mission space for that reason. I’ve heard too many people say they felt ill. – Lisa
- I choose life, instead of this ride! My husband said the easy side was fun though. – Julie
3. DINOSAUR
- Dinosaur with my daughter. Son loves it but she was screaming. – Katrina
- We just rode this one since my son is now tall enough, NEVER again! – Breanna
- Dinosaur my husband got a busted lip and my kids were both terrified!! He was trying to shield them. The ride was so jerky that he hit the front of his face on the “bars” of the ride.
4. Tower of Terror
- Tower of Terror. Went on reluctantly so I could say I did it and keep company with a friend in the group. I never get headaches but it seriously put a damper on my day. I was told it drops and pulls up 2x, but apparently the week before unknowingly they changed it to a random drop and we got dropped and pulled up 5x. I thought it was never going to end. NEVER AGAIN. My daughter and husband won’t even try it. My son does it every trip. – Jean
- I freaked out and started yelling at everyone asking if the ride was over and why wasn’t anyone answering me. – Nikki
5. Space Mountain
- Space Mountain, it was fun when we were young but as the third ride on our 6 day trip we were all hurting the entire trip! – Kimberly
- I’d say Space Mountain because it jerked my neck so bad, I had to hold my head still while riding it. Don’t know if I’ll ever ride it again! – Nina
- Space Mountain! Used to love the ride but the last time I tried I spent the rest of the day trying not to throw up. – Desirae
6. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- My family has ridden it twice and will be skipping it from now on. We rode it a second time a year later to see if we were wrong about it the first time! – Kristi
- No one in my family likes Mine Train. – Tori
7. Rock ‘n Roller Coaster
- It’s one of my favorites, but it hurts me now. I braced for the take off and was sore from the neck down for two days! – Julie
- I’m going to go with Rock ‘n Roller Coaster too. Not because I didn’t like it, but because my daughter was terrified. My 2 girls had to ride together and I was behind them. My younger daughter (who loves roller coasters was the one scared to death) she was crying the whole time. – Shelley
8. Primeval Whirl
- Primeval Whirl. That ride was so rough! – Aimee
- It’s so jerky and bumpy. There’s not any ride I won’t go on, but I didn’t love it, it was slow until it went around corners but it was rough. – Stephanie
9. It’s a Bug’s Life
- It’s a bugs life at Animal Kingdom with my 4&2 yr old, the giant spider in the beginning of the show was enough for them to freak out. – Shannon
- We made it about thirty seconds in. – Stephanie
10. Expedition Everest
- I was fine, until it started going backwards. I was nauseated and vomiting, the rest of the day….missed out on dinner at O’hana….. never will ride it again. – Julie
- Jerked me around so hard i bruised my back. My solo trip too so it made carrying things a little hard. – Jessica

I bought the guide books and read them carefully. For this reason after multiple visits to WDW, knowing myself and my limits, I have never been on any of these except Stitch’s great escape once. Stitch’s great escape is slightly dark, and it scared my then 7 year old son pretty badly, to the point where he was panicked and wanted to leave. The thing is, you’re kind of bound into your seat so you don’t think you can. You probably can, I just didn’t try to push up the bar, and ended up trying to console him by lighting up my cell phone for him to look at. The old Drew Carey sound experience thing was horrible! If you had any tendency toward even slight claustrophobia or fear of the dark, you were screwed. You had to sit in a completely- and I mean completely- darkened theater for what seemed like forever. All the kids started screaming within 2 minutes, and I was pretty freaked out myself after 5 minutes. Again cell phone to the rescue. It was a bad idea and I’m glad they got rid of it. My daughter went on Dinosaur, Space Mountain, Expedition Everest and Rockn Roller Coaster. She doesn’t go on them anymore and told me they weren’t for me. They either hurt her or disturbed her and warned me I would get sick or hurt or something. I always heard that little voice though, telling me that I’m missing out and I spent all this money so I should go on like everybody else. Now I know I have made the right decisions all these years! Thanks!

I was terrified to ride the Tower of Terror but loved it. Absolutely loved it
And The Rock and Roller Coaster was my very favorite. But it’s been years since I have been to Disney and now at 53, I may not enjoy them as much but I can’t wait to go back and try them out again.

I love mission space both versions. its the only ride that I love. I’m almost 60 yrs old and still love it. the other rides are so bad that disney should have second thoughts about keeping them open. For what you pay for those tickets , they are only a handful of rides that are any good. I’ll never be paying those prices again. disney is out of my price range. will go somewhere else with more excitement and no rude crowds. I sick of coming back to the hotel all full of black and blues from disney’s visitors.

This list has baffled me and my wife. We love most of these rides and put most of them on our fast pass list. If this is what getting old does to you, count me out. I’m a 31 year old kid at heart.
Monica Nicholas says
I agree with Michael, I love most of these rides. I am 40 and yes some of the rides do jerk you around a little but that is why you ride them once each trip.
Candi says
I am 45. Dinosaur was closed but it is the same ride platform as Indy at Disneyland and I love that one. The only one I agree with here is Stitch.
My husband doesn’t spin well. He made it through the harder side of Mission Space but once was enough. We fully expected himbto take the other side and he didn’t. He did Primeval Whirl once, I eent on 2 more times all in a row with our girls.
Deann says
I agree with you. Love almost all the rides on this list. I am 52 and enjoy them each visit.
Lauta says
I agree . I’m 40 and can’t wait. The only ones I agree with is Stitch ( boring) and Primevil whirl ( too much spinning) Totally looking forward to riding Tower of Terror at night !!
