For Halloween, make this cute Out of Treats sign for your front door! I know the norm is to turn off your porch light when you are out of candy, but I still get a lot of people ringing my doorbell and banging on my door late into the night. With kids sleeping in the house, this momma gets pretty irritated when the doorbell keeps on ringing.
Supplies Needed:
- Black (or white) foam board
- At least 2 sheets of scrapbook paper
- Double sided tape
- Ribbon
- Halloween stickers
1. Take a black (or white… it really doesn’t matter) piece of foam board and cut it to the size of your scrap paper.
2. Take 1 of your sheets of scrapbook paper and print out your words. I had to cut my paper down so it would fit in my printer.
3. Go around the perimeter of BOTH sheets of scrapbook paper with double sided tape.
4. (I’m a dummy and didn’t take a pic of this step) Tape down the first piece of scrapbook paper on top of your foam board you have already cut down to size. Then tape the piece with your lettering on it on top of that sheet on the foam board.
5. Poke 2 holes in the top for your ribbon. I used needle nose pliers to do this.
6. Insert your ribbon to the desired length and add some stickers. Now it’s ready to hang!
