The doctor’s office called today and scheduled my ultrasound appointment for Friday morning. I’m glad we will have some answers this week.
The baby is growing strong. The heartbeat is between 165-180. I’ve been checking it a couple times a day with my Doppler. That gives me some peace of mind.
I’ve been taking it easy since I got the news. I am making sure to drink plenty of water and eat healthy foods and get as much rest as I can. I can feel the baby moving around from time to time. Such a little stinker.
I really, truly appreciate everyone that is praying for us. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful, strong support system around me. I appreciate you all so very much! If I could ever pray for you or your family, please let me know!

While we are very lucky to have amazing technology that can greatly help us in times of need, it can also cause a lot of over diagnosis. I’m happy to hear that they got you in before the weekend and that the baby is acting normal- that is a very good sign! Take care and thanks for all you do for us!

I will be thinking of you! I had the opposite problem as you, my little one was measuring 2 weeks ahead, which gradually kept creeping up. By the time I had the c-section, she was measuring over a month ahead! But she’s perfectly fine, well she still has a big head :) So don’t get too nervous, things will work out either way.

You and your family and your precious baby are in my prayers! I know how difficult it is when you’re worried about your children. We recieved devastating news at our first ultrasound with our youngest son and were sent to another hospital for more extensive test where the news was even worse. They said that they would deliver him at 26 wks. if he made it. They delivered him at 40 wks. on fri. nov. 13th with all the specialist waiting for him. They were in shock when they heard him cry and even more amazed that he didn’t have any of the problems that they said he would have. It’s a long story, but I just wanted you to know that he is perfectly healthy and will be turning 12 next month! When you get scared and worried, just remember that God is with you and will be your strength, and we are all praying for you, we truely believe in miracles!!!

Will continue praying for you and the little one! Also wanted to let you know of a deal that I found on Uddercovers.com. You can order a cover blanket and enter the code “cousin2” at checkout and only pay shipping on the cover. These are normally $32.00 + shipping!! Looks like the code will work on their other products as well and you will still get up to a $32 discount. Some of the gift sets are $32.95 + shipping so you’ll pay the $0.95 + shipping. Sounds like a great deal to me! To bad I don’t have little ones anymore.

My prayers are with you. I had a very similar situation last year with while pregnant with my daughter. I remember being so scared and just cried and cried. I even ran out of a corporate meeting in tears and the CEO following me out to make sure I was okay. I found out the last business day before my company merged and my weekly hours at work increased. I was sent for all sorts of lab tests and had to go for ultrasounds every couple of weeks to measure the growth. I was so lucky to be blessed with a perfect beautiful baby girl who was 6lbs11oz. We just celebrated her first birthday the end of September and have been truly blessed. Please keep us posted.

I was thinking about you today (and sending prayers!) and wondering when you would get your ultrasound and some reassurance that things are ok with your baby. Maybe when you go to the next ultrasound you could let them know you have had a lot of stress with your daughter being hospitalized. Maybe that could figure into things? I by no means am saying you have done anything wrong. All moms are stressed with a kid sick and in the hospital. Also the babies are so tiny then it doesn’t take much for the measurements to be off. Also I have three little ones and my third is the tiniest of my three. At her 1 yr check up she was in the 2nd percentile for weight. My other two were in the 90th percentiles for weight. Also, I took a gender predictor test from Walgreens (with a urine sample) and it said I was having a boy. I did everything to the letter as far as timing and all directions and it clearly read a boy but I had a girl. The ultrasound tech thought she was a girl as early as a 12 week ultrasound. Lots to say here but know prayers are sent your way. : )

I will be thinking of you and your little one. {{{hugs}}}
I do have a child with special needs. I had an amnio and level II ultrasound with her. Nothing out of the ordinary was detected.
I think your little one is just trying to give you grey hair. :-) Um, kids tend to do that to their parents. LOL

I was just thinking of you, wondering if you had been able to get it scheduled. Continue to keep your spirits up. I am praying as are many others!!!

Thank you for the update, I’ve been thinking about you constantly! I’m glad they’re going to get you in this week, but I sure wish under these types of circumstances they could get people in even quicker – it’s such a tough wait!

I will be thinking of you and your family. I know what it’s like when the doctor tells you some news that you weren’t expecting. Everything worked out for me and I’m sure it will work out for you! Even though your pee gender test said it was a boy I bet it will be a girl with that super strong heart beat! I have 3 girls and they were all in the high 160s! Good Luck and I’ll be thinking of you.

I agree with the others doctors just like to freak mothers out. My son is now 2 months but I spent the last 3 months of my pregnancy in and out of the doctors office. Every time I went it was some complication and sent to the hospital to get evaluated. Once at the hospital I was perfectly fine and sent home. After the 6th time of this and the 3rd time I was told I would be induced I finally just gave up the tears and realized the doctor probably just wanted my money. When she finally induced me I had to verify and did not call anyone till I was actually admitted into the hospital. Take care and good luck.
