If you are planning a trip, you need to know the Walt Disney World deposit and cancellation policies.
Disney World Package Deposit & Cancellation Policy:
You can book a Disney World Package for as little as $200 per room. Disney then requires you pay the remaining balance of your package at least 30 days prior to arrival. Your package is completely pre-paid, before you leave for your vacation.
A Disney World Package final payment can be a little overwhelming. I like to make that payment more affordable by making monthly payments. Our partners at Destinations in Florida can set you up for an automatic payment plan. You can place your deposit on your package. You can then leave a credit card on file with them, along with a payment plan that you set up. You can schedule monthly payments of $100 or $300 or even $50 to automatically be charged to your credit card, up until your final payment. You create the plan that works for you and your family.
Destinations in Florida will then save you time, by automatically making the payment each month and then emailing you a receipt of your payment.
Your deposit and payments are fully refundable if you cancel at least 30 days prior to arrival. Go ahead and lock in your favorite Disney Resort and Package today!
Disney World Room Deposit & Cancellation Policy:
If you are planning a quick trip to Orlando or extending your Disney World Package for a night, you may want to book a room only reservation. You can book a room only reservation at one of the over 20 Disney Resort Hotels. A room only reservation includes your hotel accommodations and taxes. You do not have tickets or the option of the Disney Dining Plans. It is truly a room only reservation.
To book a room only reservation, Disney will require a one night (room and tax) deposit per room. This price will change base on your Disney Resort. Your remaining balance for your reservation is paid at check in with a major credit card.
If you need to cancel your reservation, Disney requires you cancel at least 5 days prior to arrival for a full refund. I always suggest you cancel at least 6 days, just to be safe. If you cancel in time, Disney will refund your entire deposit back to your credit card.
Start creating memories! Book your favorite Disney Resort today.
