(This is a picture of our autographed picture Mousekeeping left us on our last trip.)
How would your kids like an autographed picture from their favorite Disney character? All you have to do is write them a letter at this address and be sure to let them know why you love them so much:
Walt Disney Company
Attn: Fan Mail Department
500 South Buena Vista Street
Burbank, CA 91521
You should receive an autographed picture back in a few weeks.
This is a great way to teach kids how the mail system works and help them practice writing letters of their own. I am going to do this with my kids!
Strawberry says
Is this also true for people outside the United states?
I live in India..will they send me a reply?
Kristin from Couponing to Disney says
I’m not sure :(
Holly Miller says
I tried to get an autographed Mickey Mouse picture from another website for my grandson who is going to be 3 years old on August 17th and sadly I did not get a response. I am so disappointed that I will not be able to give him one for his birthday. Mickey Mouse is his favorite.
Sherri Johnson says
My 5 yr. old granddaughter sent a letter to Disney several months ago requesting a picture of Elsa. She’s been watching the mail every day waiting for her picture. She hasn’t received anything back. Not even an apology. I don’t know what went wrong, but she’s heartbroken.
Kristin from Couponing to Disney says
Sadly, they don’t send pictures or post cards from Elsa. :( I’ve heard it can take months to receive a post card from Mickey & Friends or Disney Princesses, it could still come.
Brandon Binder says
Elsa is Pixar property
Kyle Buller says
Will the characters, such as Anna and Elsa, from Frozen, sign an autographed picture? Me, my mom, my girlfriend’s sister, her mom and niece just got back from Disneyland. Part of the reason we went was for a Spina Bifida Conference, me and my girlfriend both have it. During the Magic Morning, we went early to the parks and saw the line for Anna and Elsa but we were told that the current line wasn’t for disabled people, as me and her are both in wheelchairs. We would have had to wait an hour and 45 minutes for the disabled line, but there was a session at the conference we really wanted to go to, so needless to say we didn’t get to see them. So that is the reason for my question
Kristin from Couponing to Disney says
Right now they are just sending a post card from either all of the Disney princesses, or from Mickey and friends. :( I’m sorry you missed out on seeing them!
Johnna says
my favorite caracter has got to be minnie mouse she is like my favorite of all time and to have an autograph would be amazing i love her so much
Sal says
“Write a letter to your favorite Disney character and get
an autographed picture in return – Couponing to Disney” actually makes myself contemplate a small amount further.
I cherished every individual part of it. Thank you -Myles
John says
Just and update, Disney now send postcards from the characters – not the picture mentioned above. For an example, look at the following website: http://postmarkedwithlove.blogspot.com/2012/08/love-mickey-minnie-mouse.html
Melissa says

Heather says
Would it work if you live in Canada? My daughter and her best friend are a huge princess fan, and they would love some princess photographs. We will be sending in a letter to each of them, and really hope that they get one back.
Daniella says
Did it work, Heather?
Katie says
Did you include a self addressed stamped envelope or is that not necessary?
Stacey says
We just got our picture back from Buzz and Woody! My son was so excited! Thanks!
Sara says
Stacey, did you send it to Buzz and Woody in one letter, or send two separate letters?

I saw this on a blog and got super excited for my son who is three and learning how to write. I was wondering if anyone knew if Lightning McQueen was considered a Disney character for this! thanks a bunch!
Amy says
question: can it be the TV show character????
Ruth O says
My girls received autographed 8X10’s from Cinderella and Prince Charming in the mail and during our last trip my 6yr old was really sick and she got an autographed card with a 5X7 of Minnie Mouse at Animal Kingdom Lodge. And on the trip before, Goofy found out it was my other daughters 13th bday and he sent her a bday card with an autographed 5X7 pic and a bunch of balloons to our room at Old Key West.
Becky T. says
Just last week I was looking online for an address to send fan mail to. My daughter drew a picture for Aurora which we took to the park with us last month to give her, but we forgot to do it. Doh! So I promised her we would mail it. So excited that we can do that now. Thanks!!!
Lisa says
It says that the “mousekeeper” left it. Did they leave a picture while you were in Disney? Can we do it so they leave the picture in our room? We leave tomorrow morning for Disney, I guess it would not be enough time anyway! Any info would be great! THANKS!
Audra says
I never had mousekeeping leave a picture, but they made some great window decorations for us using our kids’ Cinderella dresses and their stuffed animals. They seem to be more likely to put in the extra time and effort when they are tipped!
Nichole Waggoner says
If you tell them you are celebrating something AFTER you get there, they will. We did this for my kid sister and they had a balloon and autographed Mickey/Minnie pix that was personalized.
We were there until Saturday and did the same thing again. My stepson lost his tooth. Mousekeeping did an autographed pix (not personalized). It was awesome! I just called down to the front desk and they sent it out.
AriannaFan says
This is exactly the lesson I used on my 7 year old a few months ago and she received her Princess Tiana picture about 6 weeks later. She was SO excited!!!
Audra says
Our kids just got their autographed pictures in the mail. Both were personalized, too! My 4-year-old wrote to Mickey Mouse and the picture he sent her says, “To My Pal Rachel!” And my 7-year-old wrote to Cinderella, and hers says, “Princess Naomi!” They were both very excited. Thanks for posting this!!
Kane millsaps says
i love disney land can u send me some movies and pictures
Alicia Young says
I was wondering if adults can do this also, or if it’s only for the kids. Im planning on having a Disneyland wedding, and I think it would be a neat idea to get a picture signed by my bridesmaids favorite characters. I would do this as a gift for them as I ask them to be in the bridal party. I have some girls who have never been to Disneyland, and this would be extra special to them!
mikala says
hi i sent a letter to walt disney last time and wanted to say thank you for sending me what i needed thank you and the last time i went to disneyland was about seven years ago it was the only time i went i loved it
Stephanie Gilbert says
Thank you so much for this info. My daughter loves Jasmine and I hope to get her a picture.

We just finished some letters and pictures to send.
Thanks so much!
When my daughters were born I sent copies of the birth announcement to the white house greetings office. They each received some nice cards from the president and first lady….a nice keepsake for the baby books!
Jiya says
Great idea — my 1st grader can always use some writing practice, and he loves getting things in the mail.
Barbie says
I LOVE this idea. I’m going to use it for a birthday party activity this summer. I am throwing a Prince’s and Princess’s 2nd Birthday Party and think having them all send a letter to their favorite character/princess would be such a great activity. Especially if they get a picture back. Thank you!
Kristin of Couponing to Disney says
That’s a great idea!
Sandy K says
Thanks a letter is ready for the mail. I think my three granddaughters will love
getting a photo in the mailo
Rebecca says
I helped my 5 year old son write a letter to Disneyland because he was devastated that they removed the “California” letters from the front of California Adventure. They wrote a very nice letter back to him and sent him an autographed picture of the fab 5 in front of the castle. He was thrilled that they listened to what he had to say, and the picture is framed in his bedroom!
Barbie says
I had no idea they removed the letters. How sad!
Matt Sparks says
If your son wants to visit the letters they are at Cal-Expo (the fairgrounds) In Sacramento, CA
Audra says
What a great idea! My two girls are running to write their letters right now!
Chelsea says
Question: Does this work on characters that aren’t typically in the park? Like Simba?
Kristin of Couponing to Disney says
I’m not sure! Probably worth a try, though! :)
Glass_Skunk says
I don’t think so, I tried sending one to Georgette and got nothing back :(
Sara says
I’m going to have my students do this.
Bernadine says
Cute! I didn’t know about this particular address. I’ve had my kids send coloring pages addressed to specific characters at the physical Disneyland address in Anaheim and we’ve received signed 8×10 black and white photographs and a postcard from the princesses. It was cute and it works! I’ll have to try this particular address and try to get an Alice photo.
Christina says
I may just have to try this! My daughter is too young to write, but she loves to color and would love to send a picture she colored to her favorite princesses let alone maybe get a signed picture in return. :)
nicole says
Bernadine…what address do you use? my daughter’s 4th birthday is coming up in August…and she is having a princess birthday, she would be absolutely thrilled to get a picture and happy birthday from Princess Aurora. I want to send something to each address, just to make sure I cover all my corners to get it done! Thanks!
Tina says
Bernadine, would you please list what addresss you used? I tried searching for them but came up empty.
Thank you
Elyse says

Does this work for anniversary announcements, too? I am planning on having a Disney Honeymoon, and I think it would be a nifty little thing to have.
Stephanie Shea (estabrook) says
I sent them an invite and an rsvp notice along with a letter. I hope they will receive it and deem me worthy enough for an autographed photo to give to my soon to be husband.
Alla says
