Take control of your savings goals with the $1 to $100 Envelope Challenge. Here’s how:
Get 100 envelopes and number them $1 – $100
Each week, select 1-2 envelopes that you are able to complete that week
If you complete $1-$50, you’ll have saved $1275
If you complete $1-$82, you’ll have saved $3403
If you complete $1-$100, you’ll have saved $5,050
What’s awesome about this saving challenge is that it can vary based on how much you are able to save that week. If it is an easy week, you might grab 1-2 of the higher priced envelopes. If it is a more challenging week, you might do a lower value.
You make it work for you!
SavEar Kevin shared…”We wanted to share our new savings adventure! We loved the 100 envelope challenge but for us we decided to start out with 50 instead because envelopes would be hard for us to keep up with. So we got our savings binder out with the baseball card sleeves. They have nine slots per page and we used 6 pages and added stickers to display the envelope number. Of course we had 4 extra slots so we created surprise labels. The surprise labels can be anything extra you didn’t expect to get like a Starbucks card, gas or food card or money to use on your trip. Our first surprise was a Burger King card to use while traveling! We look forward to filling up each slot. When we complete it we will have saved $1275 plus 4 bonus savings…whatever they may be! Thanks for the saving tip!!!”
SavEar Caitlyn shared her super creative envelopes too!
