The Saving to Disney course goes into great detail on life changing methods, but the unsung heroes of the course, in my opinion, are the little, every day adjustments we can make that add up in a big way.
I recently posted a breakdown of all the savings for my Girls Trip, and one thing I was incredibly surprised about was what a big factor Found Money played. At $211.40, Found Money was my third highest earner, 15.9% of my $1326.44. And before I did the Saving to Disney course, it was a concept I was completely unfamiliar with.
We’ve gathered 20 popular everyday savings tips to help your fund along, whether you’ve just started your Couponing to Disney journey or you’ve been following the plan for a while. The objective of Couponing to Disney, of the Saving to Disney course, is to fund your vacation without taking money from your income or running up debt. That means no canceling Christmas or the next four birthdays and funneling all that money into a trip, or not paying your water bill, or opening a new card and paying for the trip for the rest of your life as interest build up. These methods are designed to help you save for Disney alongside paying your day-to-day expenses while still allowing you to enjoy birthday parties, date nights, and holiday celebrations. In fact, since I’ve started the Couponing to Disney way, I’ve paid my bills, saved for Disney, and had even better birthday parties, date nights, and holiday celebrations.
