Table Service Restaurants are perfect for a relaxing meal at Disney World. Often times, stepping into these favorite Disney restaurants is like stepping into another world due to the immersive theming. Many of these, and particularly the character meals, do fill up fast and advanced dining reservations are recommended. Reservations are accepted at 180 days in advance, for guests staying on site or not. Take a break and dine at one of these 20 favorite Table-Service restaurants at Disney World.
1. Be Our Guest (Magic Kingdom)
Find Be Our Guest is found in Fantasyland of Magic Kingdom, it is table-service for dinner. Dine in one of 3 themed rooms. Dinner dining experience includes French inspired foods with a Prix Fixe 3-course menu. Start your meal with an appetizer, I recommend the French Onion soup. Then get your choice of main entrée such as filet mignon, seafood bouillabaisse and more. There is a special kids menu for guests 9 years and younger. Save room for dessert! The Grey stuff is a must. At the end of your Dinner, encounter the Beast!
2. Chef Mickey’s (Contemporary Resort)
Visit Chef Mickey’s for a buffet breakfast, brunch or dinner at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This is a Character dining experience with such characters as: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald or Goofy. Dine on classic American cuisine, the Mickey Waffles at breakfast are a must have. End your meal with a visit to the sundae bar, yum!
3. Garden Grill Restaurant (Epcot)
Visit Garden Grill Restaurant in The Land Pavilion of Future World at Epcot. This restaurant is a unique rotating experience, the eatery slowly turns as you dine revealing views of Living with the Land attraction. Plus, this is a Character dining with the Chip n’ Dale Harvest Feast! Enjoy for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
4. Yak & Yeti Restaurant (Animal Kingdom)
Guests can dine at Yak & Yeti Restaurant in Asia at Animal Kingdom. Guests will find Southeast Asian artifacts inside while they dine on Asian Flavors. Stop by for wok, noodles, grilled entrees and more, including shareables perfect for 2 to split.
5. Ohana’ (Polynesian Resort)
Visit Ohana’ at Disney’s Polynesian Resort for the Best Friends Breakfast or Spirit of Aloha Dinner show. The Best Friends Breakfast features Lilo & Stitch and an American & Hawaiian flavored breakfast. Try the Stitch Juice. Or, be treated to a beautiful dinner show in the evening. Each meal is all you can to enjoy.
6. 50’s Prime Time Café (Hollywood Studios)
Go back in time at 50’s Prime Time Café in Hollywood Studios. This themed eatery bring guests back to the 1950’s era for a TV dinner, complete with a black and white TV’s showing old fashioned clips. Dine on comfort foods such as Mom’s Old-Fashioned pot roast and a favorite – Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken. This location is also known for its Peanut Butter & Jelly Milkshake. Just be sure to mind your manners here, no elbows on the table!
7. Biergarten Restaurant (Epcot)
Visit Biergarten Restaurant at the Germany Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. Guests will enjoy lively entertainment and German cuisine, celebrate Oktoberfest all year long here. Dine on rotisserie chicken, bratwurst, choice of salads and more, it is all you care to enjoy. Save room for the Bavarian cheesecake and more.
8. The Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom)
Dine at The Crystal Palace on Main St USA in Magic Kingdom. This Character dining experience includes meet & greets with Pooh, Tigger and friends. Plus, children will love participating in the parade with Characters around the restaurant.
9. Le Cellier Steakhouse (Epcot)
Visit Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase. This is a fine dining experience, themed after a grand wine cellar found in a Canadian chateau. This is your stop for amazing steak and seafood.
10. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (Epcot)
Dine with Disney Princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall found in the Norway Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. This eatery is themed after a medieval castle. Guests can see up to 5 Princesses such as Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Ariel or Princess Aurora.
11. Hollywood & Vine (Hollywood Studios)
Visit Hollywood & Vine for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Conisder a special breakfast buffet and dine with Disney Junior Characters. The newest friend to join the Character breakfast brunch is Disney Junior’s Vampirina.
12. Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge)
Visit Artist Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge for an enchanted Character Dining experience. Storybook Dining is inspired by Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Meet & Greet with Dopey, Grumpy and Show White, plus an encounter with the Queen. The menu is seasonal and a Prix Fixe menu.
13. Sci-Fi Dine In Theater Restaurant (Hollywood Studios)
Visit Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant for a uniquely themed restaurant. It is themed after an old fashioned drive-in theater. Guests can watch sci-fi clips while they dine at a table resembling a 1950’s car. The atmosphere makes up for the average tasting food. Plus, save room for their amazing dessert and milk shakes.
14. T-Rex Café (Disney Springs)
Guests will find T-Rex Cafe in the marketplace area of Disney Springs. Arrive early to let your children play in the digging area. Then dine inside a prehistoric themed restaurant. The 15-foot tall T-Rex is quite the site, plus animatronic dinosaurs and more theming including in the entrée names. Consider the Megasaurus Burger or the Pork-asaurus Sandwich and more. After your meal create your own dinosaur at the Build-A-Dino (run by Build-A-Bear).
15. Olivia’s Café (Old Key West Resort)
For casual and delicious dining, head to Old Key West Resort to Olivia’s Café. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner here. At dinner guests can enjoy the Homemade soup of the day, entrees such as Grilled new York strio, Seven Mile Sea scallops and more. Plus, kids will love the Specialty Character light up cups, for an additional price.
16. Sanaa (Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas)
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge visit Sanaa. Dine for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The bread service is a must try here. Expand your taste buds with African and Indian flavors. Plus, after you dine the Animal Kingdom Resort offers animal views, see Giraffes and more on the Savannah.
17. Cinderella’s Royal Table (Magic Kingdom)
Find Cinderella’s Royal Table inside Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom. For those on the dining plan, this Character meal costs 2 dining credits. However, it is worth the experience once to climb the spiral staircase to the restaurant. Then guests will enjoy a dining experience with Disney Princesses such as Cinderella, Belle and more.
18. Coral Reef (Epcot)
Visit Coral Reef in Future World of Epcot. If you are a fan of Seafood this is a must get reservation. Serving seafood cuisine from around the world and more entrees. Plus, get amazing views of the Aquarium while you dine, it is home to 4,000 sea creatures.
19. Trattoria Al Forno (Disney’s Boardwalk)
Visit Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s Boardwalk and find a character breakfast. The whole family will enjoy the character meet & greets with select Princesses and their Princes too! Encounter Rapunzel & Flynn Ryder plus Ariel & Prince Eric. Start with pastries to share, then dine on buttermilk pancakes, bacon and more. After you dine, take a stroll on the boardwalk.
20. The Plaza Restaurant (Magic Kingdom)
Visit the elegant, The Plaza Restaurant on Main St USA of Magic Kingdom. Dine for lunch or dinner in a family friendly setting. Dad will love the Home-Style Meatloaf, or consider the unique Fried Green Tomato Sandwich. However, the real reason to dine here is for the All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Milk Shake!
