My experiences:
We ate here on our anniversary trip and again with our kids later that year. For anniversary, it was for breakfast and the food was really good! We didn’t wait to meet the characters though.Â
For the trip with our family, we ate lunch and it was delicious. The princesses were really sweet and we thought the whole thing was well put together. I highly recommend it!

I LOVEE eating here. Yes it is a little on the pricey side but to me it is worth it. I have eaten at Cinderella’s royal table multiple times including when I was a little girl. My mom and I are going back for the week of my 21st birthday. You must must must have reservations or you will not get a table. Please consider going to this lovely place, as well as some others mentioned in the comments.

I ate at the castle last week (March 19) and Belle was not present. We had Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, and Jasmine. Not sure if this is a permanent change but I was really disappointed.
Kristin of Couponing to Disney says
Aw, that’s sad you missed out on Belle. :(
Karen says
I love Belle, but I’d love to get Jasmine when we go in October, because my beautiful daughter was named after Jasmine!

I made reservations 6 months ago for May 18 because they are so hard to get. Well, six months ago, no problem. Called today, April 16, to ask a question just to find out my reservations were mistakenly, by staff, made in March instead of May. So I have to tell my 5-year old grand daughter she doesn’t get to eat with the princesses after all. When you call in for reservations, it is not enough to ask them to repeat it back to you. I recommend you call them back and let someone else tell you what their computer says so you don’t end up with disappointed kids.

We had our granddaughters BD breakfast in the castle Jan 6, 2012, the atmosphere of the castle itself was beautiful… Other than that the meal, service and characters were all very disappointing.
Everything was extremely rushed to the point of plates being slid so quickly across the table it was as if they were being thrown at you. The food was mediocre at best. The Princesses presence at each table was so fast that it was almost non-existent and we were unable to get good pictures.
It was really sad when the BD girl stated “why are they doing everything so fast, do they want us to hurry up and leave?” Needless to say that after all the years of waiting to get into the castle for a meal this experience was truly not a “Magical Experience” I would have loved to have had a refund of my $150+
We have had the princess breakfast in Epcot twice a year at Akershus for 3 years in a row and the food is delicious, service is wonderful and the princess experience amazing especially the dance around the banquet hall with all the children.
My advice save the time trying to get this ADR, go to Epcot and have a much nicer all around Princess Experience.
Connie says
We have visited Cinderella’s castle for both lunch and dinner. The food was not impressive but lunch was more appetizing than dinner…Although no one eats here for the food. We love the castle and it is at the top of our list of ADRs because of the interaction with the princesses. In January of this year we went for dinner and our daughter really bonded with Ariel and this princess kept returning to say hi and even bragged to her princess friends about Emma. I teared up as I saw how special my daughter felt in this magical place. We will always make a point to eat here for lunch.
Emily says
Ok so yes. There is the aspect of the castle and it feeling magical, but the food at Cinderella’s Castle is just not worth the price. It costs two dining plan sit-down dinner points ($39-$59) for just standard food and a photo package. There are so many other choices that offer amazing food with atmosphere. If you are looking for the princess experience with dinner, go to Akershus. I love Disney with all my heart, but this dining experience is just not worth it.

I ate here during my first and only trip to Disney World when I was in 7th grade (summer of ’98). Everything about the inside was magical and beautiful! Everything about the meal had a special touch and the food was delicious! It was fancier than the other restaurants we dined at in the park but definitely was one of the highlights of the trip! We were called princesses throughout the meal and got to take pictures with Cinderella after we were done. One of the memories that sticks out in my mind is the butter for your bread was sculpted into a Mickey Mouse :)

We have done breakfast here before and it was the first time we had all been inside the castle. It was magical just being IN the castle. The food was delicious and your reguular eggs & bacon type of breakfast along with small pastries and juices. The princess interaction was very good and each one spends a good time with you.

Thsi was a fantastic meal. We took my 4 year old and 1 year old daughter last November and can’t wait to go back again. My daughter was so excited and was dressed up in her snow white dress. We recieved a “free” picture of our family with Cinderella. The food was really good (although expensive) and it was really exciting because they announce the princesses one at a time and then they come to your table for a picture. At the end of dinner was a wishing ceremony that I don’t think you describe with any word but “magical”. My husband and I can’t wait to take the girls back here.
April says
We ate dinner in the castle summer of 2010. The fun began downstairs taking photos with Cinderella. Then as they called your name for dinner, you were escorted up the staircase to the restaurant in the castle. We had the dining plan and used one if not two of our sit down dinners for this. It was well worth it! We had 9pm reservations. Yes, late for dinner but we didn’t mind b/c we could play more and it ended up being the perfect time b/c we were up in the castle when the firework show was going on! We got to see the fireworks while being in Cinderella’s castle. Talk about magical, it is one of my best Disney moments. The princesses were all introduced and came by each table. They didn’t rush and you could take photos, video, get autographs. They were very sweet with my daughters. At the end of dinner, they gave all the little girls a wand and the little boys a sword. I thought the food was good and it was such a festive night. Everything seemed so perfect and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.

My husband & I ate dinner here on my birthday 3 years ago & it was wonderful! We had a table right next to a window, so we were able to see all of Fantasyland! The ambiance was so wonderful-our server was overly nice & attentive, the food was delish & I loved the added bonus of getting the photo package with Cinderella! Even without children, it was still a magical experience & I would recommend everyone doing it at least once, if possible!

We had breakfast 2 months ago with our 5 year old, we were celebrating her birthday. I will recommend this to anyone, it’s a great experience for the girls. My daughter was so excited she couldn’t beleive it. The food is very good and get to know most of the princesses at once.
We loved it.

We ate at Cinderella’s Royal Table on September 14, 2011. We were there for breakfast. I honestly wasn’t expecting much as far as the food went. I was pleasantly surprised. My husband and I both enjoyed our dinner and the girls loved the French toast sticks. It was difficult to get the girls to concentrate on their meals with the princesses arriving though. It was nice to see so many princesses in one spot. They spent a nice amount of time with the girls. I also love the picture that we received of our family with Cinderella. Our waitress was wonderful as well. The girls already want to go back for our next trip!

We have been twice (both for birthday breakfasts). It is a small fortune to go. The first time we went my daughter was 4 and totally into the princess thing. It was magical. We cried when her favorite “Cindy” came and talked to her. She was on cloud nine for years. My husband was in love with the stuffed french toast. We went again this past year at her request for another birthday. Food was not as good. She still loved it, but it lacked some of the magic. Maybe because she was older. I think it would be great for a one time deal for the princess enthusiast. Also, we always scheduled before park opening so we could get in early. NO CROWDS makes for the PERFECT pic in front of the castle on main street.

We were just at Disney the first week of September and did 9 character meals!!! We had the free quick service with our package and upgraded to the deluxe plan. We also only booked 6 weeks before we left and were still able to get all the character meals we wanted. We ate at the Royal Table twice — for lunch and dinner. We had 2 adults and 2 3-year-olds. I think the food at breakfast was better — dinner was still good. The french toast was amazing. My husband didn’t care for the sausage with his breakfast — but he liked everything else. The girls loved their breakfast and asked for more bacon and we got a whole plate of it. The pasties in the beginning of the meal were very good too. For dinner my husband and I both had the beef tenderloin and it was very good. I had the salad and he had the shrimp appetizer — but were just ok — we didn’t finish them. Dessert was very good — I had the 3 mini dessert and my husband had the cheesecake — the cheesecake was so much better. The girls had ice cream and cupcakes — they were happy. The fairy godmother must have been sick because we never saw her at breakfast or at dinner. We didn’t pay for the actual meal since we used meal credits it was worth it to us. If I was going back we would breakfast again. The experience was great and everyone should do it at least once.

Every one should try this ultimate epitome of a Disney Magic Dinning Experience. It is worth every penny to experience dinning at Cinderella’s Royal Table aka Cinderella’s Castle. Ask for a window table as it is the best seat in the house…err I mean Castle. You are truly treated like a King and/or Queen. Every time we have eaten here we been surprised by a chance character encounter. One time in the middle of dinner Peter Pan was on the outisde of the window and peeking in the window at me. Once we caught each other stares….puff….he ran away and disappeared. Next I noticed Captain Hook running after him outside the Castle window . The food was good as both my husband and I enjoyed the prime rib. At the end of meal we were given a choice of a toy sword or wand. As we went around the park afterwards every one knew we had dinner at Cinderella’s Castle because of our toy sword and wand. That only perpetuated the magic of having dinner at Cinderella’s Castle

I haven’t been for years–since before the prices got so high. It was my mom & dad, with two adult daughters & one of their husbands, i.e. no kids. And we still felt like it was worth it. You’re really paying to “eat in the Castle.” If that’s worth the money to you, do it!
Katie says
As others have said, it is more about the experience. I do believe the wait was way too long. The food was not bad, and as far as the kid’s menu, it was much better than other places. My little girl had salmon. The princesses were great with her and took plenty of time at our table. She had just been to the boutique and was princessed up herself. Great experience and we will do it again in March.
Jess says
The food is good, not great, but the amount of characters you get to see in such a short amount of time makes this meal priceless! Ask for a seat by the window for a great view. All the pictures you get really are an awesome keepsake too, and to top it all off they gave me a toy wand and my husband a toy sword, he lit up like it was Christmas!

We ate at Cinderella’s Royal Table for breakfast on our very first trip to Disney World. Breakfast is the least expensive option as far as dining at this restaurant goes. This is a great experience and I would recommend it to everyone to go at least one time. Eating in the castle is amazing! Every little prince or princess has probably dreamed of going inside the castle and this meal is your chance. We enjoyed the breakfast food that was offered. Everything was delicious. The best part of this meal is the great character interaction. We loved meeting Cinderella and all of the other princesses that were present! This is a great way to meet your favorite princess without waiting in a long line!

we ate her back in 07 during our first trip to WDW! this was part of our special christmas day treat for our then 9 yo daughter! she had BBB first thing in the am and dressed as cinderella, then we ate here! she loved it! personally, the wait was outrageous! we were standing in one room for over an hour. then it was off to another room. very few princesses came to our table, so pics were not taken. the food was pretty good. overall, been there. done that. move on to the next place.

We ate at Cinderella’s Castle for my daughter’s 15th birthday. I booked way in advance because I knew we would be there for her birthday and I knew she would love it. She did!! My all “grown-up” little girl was enchanted to be having her birthday dinner in the castle. The food was excellent and so was the view. When the sun went down and the lights came on outside it was even more beautiful. The kids loved the wands for the girls and the swords for the boys. They ended the dinner with a white chocolate Cinderella slipper for dessert. Definitely five stars!!

My husband & I went for our 1st time to dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table this Sept. We were so anticipatory of our dinner, as we were celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary, and where better?! We were EXTREMELY disappointed, especially for Signature Dining! We had no children w/us, just adults and this has never been an issue at ANY of the other character dining! We were made to feel less than important there! It started when initial reservations were made & we were STRICTLY informed that we MUST bring photo ID or it would be an expensive mistake, as we would be charged $120.00!! CERTAINLY NOT Disney quality customer care! WDW actually contacted us when they made an error & booked our dining on a Special Event night. When we did arrive about 15 mins early & w our photo IDs, they told us they didn’t need them (Told my husband he looked like an honest man) AND that we could not be “checked in” until 5 mins before our reservations! The photo w Cinderella is probably very important to families w young children, but not so for the adult traveler. The ‘holding’ area that you must wait in until being ‘allowed’ to go upstairs was cramped w other guests waiting for dining and/or photos. Yes, your dinner includes an appetizer & YES you get a photo package but NOT an impressive dining experience! Our server was very non-nonchalant in his presentation ie: when we complimented how beautiful the blue water glasses were – his comment was “Oh, you used to be able to get them at Pier 1!” or when I complimented on the Seafood Pasta, especially the noodles “We don’t make them fresh!!” REALLY?!? And this is supposed to be a MAGICAL experience AND an Anniversary Celebration! Service was SLOW! My husband got the rock shrimp cocktail and the serving size was miniscule! I had the corn chowder & it was really thick, to the point I couldn’t eat it, but NO ONE asked how our appetizers were, even when they took away a 3/4 full bowl! My husband had the fish of the day & it was SO salty, but again, no follow-through from the server! We ordered the Dessert trio & it was less than impressive, especially if you’ve been to the Wishes Dessert Party! We had pre-ordered the chocolate mousse in the white slipper to celebrate our anniversary, and it must of been kept in a cooler, as it was SO HARD we couldn’t eat it! We will ABSOLUTELY NOT go back! The Plastic wand & sword were certainly not appropriate for the adult diner! We expected so much more from dining in the Castle AND a Signature Dining Experience!

We have had breakfast twice, last time Sept. 2011 and loved it each time. It is pricey but my granddaughters love it, they get dressed up and love meeting each princess. We thought the food was good and plenty of it.

This is one of those meals you do for the “experience”. I have always wanted to see the inside of the castle since I was a little girl. Finally had my little girl (after four boys) and we took the kids there for the breakfast meal. The food was mediocre at best. The princesses were extremely rushed and did not really talk to the kids, just came to the table, hurried up and signed books and then took a quick picture. I did like the way that they gave all the boys swords and the girls received wands and they did a special thing about making a wish together. That was sweet. But for a really great princess experience, I prefer the meal at Norway so much better!

We went for lunch a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. We were seated near the window and it was fun being able to look out over Fantasyland while we were eating! The Fairy Godmother came our table and we enjoyed being able to see her. The girls were given “Magic Wands” and stars. It was nice having our picture made with Cinderella inside the castle. The pictures are included in the price of the meal. The food was good but nothing special. I would definitely recommend going here but wouldn’t make it a yearly reservation.

We’ve eaten there twice. Breakfast once in Aug 2008 and dinner in Aug 2011. It is such a neat experience. If you can do it, then you have to go. I think the dinner was by far better than the breakfast. We used the dinning plan both times, but if you have to pay out of pocket, I think you get much more at dinner. The adult portions were fine, and we thought everything tasted fine. As far as the kids meals go, I think it’s just as good as any other restaurant there, maybe even better. Reason I say that, is because even w/the kids menu our 4yr old daughter was still able to order a steak and veggies. Which was nice, considering most of the time they can only get chicken nuggets or PB & J’s. She seemed to like it, because it was one of the few meals that she actually cleared her whole plate! The breakfast we had in 2008 was good, but it was just your standard breakfast. The dinner is a way better deal. And then you have all the Princesses too. There’s something about being up in the castle, and the atmosphere up there. It just seems more relaxed and not so rushed. The Princesses actually were able to stop and really talk w/our daughters. Even our 11 yr old daughter thought it was neat! Is it the best meal at the parks we’ve had, no.(We personally love the Biergarten), but it is a good meal. A lot better than some of the restaurants. We will be taking our next trip in Aug of 2013, and we know we will definetly being having dinner at the Castle again.

I took only my 8 year old daughter and left the boys with dad to ride. She loved it. The castle is just beautiful and we were seated near a window that looked out on Fantasyland. The breakfast was awesome. Stuffed french toast, fruit, pastries, etc. They offered to bring us more of anything we wished for:) We enjoyed the princesses coming to our table. It will be a once in a lifetime breakfast for us since my daughter is getting older but well worth the money. The waiter even came and offered us swords for her brothers.

I think this is a MUST do for any little princess!! To be inside Cinderella’s Castle is the ultimate experience. The food isn’t terrible, but really this is all about the experience!

We ate at Cinderella’s Royal Table on April 10th, 2011. It was my birthday and it was wonderful. My girls (3 and 5) LOVED every minute of it. The food was wonderful, and the princesses were great. Lots of interaction, and they were at our table longer than at other meals. We saw Cinderella in the lobby, Snow White, Ariel, Belle, and Aurora.
The food was really good, and our server was out of this world. He brought out cappucino, espresso, etc. for our table, and they Princesses all presented me with my birthday cake. It was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this, and I know my family and I will be going back again. My only advice would be to book early!

We have been here twice, it was an awesome experience for my daughter. She was 4 and 6 at the times we went. She did not care for the food (except the sweets!). She is a very picky eater though. It was fine, but not our favorite meal. The experience was something I think she will never forget. They gave the girls wants and a star and when they waved the wand over the star and told them to look up there were stars magically in the ceiling. She was so amazed. Definitely a must for little girls! :-)

We eaten there twice. The first time when I announce to my hubby that we were having a girl. The second time it was this Feb 2011 when we took our little princess to eat dinner right after her bibbidi bobbidi boutique experience. The food for the adults is great, but for the kids not great for the price.
I actually emailed Disney about how disappointing the kids meal is and they need to change it.I actually got a call from them to see how to change it. Example my daughter 2yrs old gets a free meal.It was suppose to be buttered noodles, instead it was just wet noodles with no flavor. My other two kids only choice for eating is a small, looks like frozen pizza. It comes in a mickey plate(circle in middle & two little circles on top) with carrots and celery. Not worth it for kids.

We had lunch here a few weeks ago and overall it was an enjoyable experience. It was my daughters birthday and we did not have reservations, while she was getting done up at the Bippidi Boppidi Boutique I walked over to see if by chance there was an opening. I was told there wasn’t and as I walked away a VERY nice lady stopped me and told me she was standing in line to cancel her reservation so why not see if I could take her spot. She was heaven-sent, just like that we had a reservation! I rushed back over to the BBB to ask her fairy godmother in training to please hurry b.c we didn’t want to lose our space, they were very helpful and understanding. Once we arrived at CRT everyone greeted my daughter and wished her a happy birthday, after her picture session with Cinderella we were shown upstairs to our table and she was given her wand and wishing star. All the princesses that came over chatted, took numerous pics and of course wished her a happy birthday. I couldn’t find anything on the adult menu that appealed to me so I ordered from the kids menu and it was sooo tasty. Because it was her birthday our server placed a candle in her cupcake and sang happy birthday to her ;) The ambiance, the quality of service and food in addition to the picture made it a good value in my opinion.

We ate breakfast here in Oct. 2010 and loved it! We were there with our son (11) and daughter (4) and my parents. We enjoyed the food, especially the pastries, and had plenty to eat. The waiter was very attentive and when “the Princess” asked for another cinnamon roll he brought her a plateful and also brought out a plateful of extra bacon for my son. We had both a family picture taken with Cinderella and just my daughter with her. Cinderella was very gracious and attentive with my daughter and spent plenty of time with her as my daughter had made pictures to give to her. She took time to look over the pictures and talk about each one with her. I have great pictures of my daughter with her wand and wishing star during the activity they do with those. Very cute!
The only other character meal we had was Tusker House which was fine but I felt very rushed in there and I did not feel rushed at CRT. We had a very early appt. at the boutique (which my daughter hated! LOL), she wore her Cinderella dress and then we were able to go ride the carousel once (she rode Major) before eating breakfast. The photographer in the boutique told us which horse was Major and the ladies running the carousel helped us find it. Because we were back there before the park even opened we were the first and almost only ones on the ride. We really didn’t have to wait long for breakfast and the timing of the boutique appt and breakfast before the park opens was great.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it. My husband, 7 year old son and I went for dinner. There were no characters in the dining room but Belle was in the waiting area in her throne :) Belle signed autographs and spoke to the kids waiting. She took her picture with my son and kissed his cheek afterwards, he was very embrassed! The food was great and having the feel of being in the castle was so nice. We were seated near the windows facing Fantasyland, about half way through our meal Peter Pan and Captain Hook appeared on the balconies outside the windows and began sword fighting. My son (and us) were so excited. They were out there close to 15 minutes. This was in early May when the park closes early and we had reservations for the lastest seating, so I guess the characters were done their regular appearances for the day. Also when we left the castle I got great pictures of us on Main St with no one else around, it was like having Main St to ourselves… Definitely recommend the restaurant and the timing. Enjoy!

We (my husband, our 4 year old daughter & I) ate at Cinderella’s Royal Table when we visited in February 2011. We LOVED it! Our daughter is 4 and had an absolute ball! We had dinner and were able to see the princesses (Snow White, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, Belle and Cinderella). The food was wonderful and the priceless look on my daughters face was very worth it. However, we did have the meal plan and it was worth the two meals!
We (my husband & I) went in 2007 and had dinner there with our 9 month old daughter, 15 year old son & 15 year old nephew. At that time, the characters were the Fairy Godmother, Suzie & Perla. We had a great time and the food was excellent. (again we used the meal plan).
I highly recommend dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table!

My husband’s only stipulation when we go to Disney is eating at CRT. He loves the prime rib!!! We also love eating in the castle and watching our daughter talk to Cinderella, and our 8 yr old son is mesmerized as well! He tries to act like he is not affected by Cinderella, but he is. There are 7 of us going next month, my nephews 1st Disney trip, and we wouldn’t miss it for the world.

We have dined here once, and probably won’t go again. My daughter loved her magic wand she got when you first arrive. The fact that my son dislikes eating with the princesses was eased when they handed him his sword (which he had broken by the time dinner was over.) We loved the keepsake picture with Cinderella. We didn’t like the dinner,iIt was very bland. The dessert was delicious though. We were very disappointed with the character interaction though. They didn’t spend much time with my daughter at all. The princess interaction at the Storybook Dinner at Akershus is so much better than at CRT. The food is better at Akershus as well. CRT definately doesn’t warrant 2 table service credits in my opinion!! We’ll stick to Akershus for now, but maybe one day will return to CRT!

We’ve eaten there twice. Once for breakfast – just the four of us – and we really liked it! Our waiter was very attentive and we enjoyed the food.
The second time was on our honeymoon, for dinner. At the last minute (at the beginning of our honeymoon) my Mom decided to stay with us at WDW. We were staying at CBR and I asked at the desk if they could check on adding my Mom to our table – they said “no, that books up months in advance” – they wouldn’t even try! So, I prepped my Mom that she might not be able to join us for dinner and showed her other places where she might hang out while we ate. I was bummed!
Howver, when I checked us in for dinner, I mentioned this to the CM, and she said “no problem, we can fit your Mom in!” Mom got to eat with us – yay!! I had ordered slipper desserts for our kids – the plates read “Thank You Maid of Honor/Best Man” and it was really neat. We had a great time and love our pictures of all five of us. ;o) It is pricey – but hey, you’re in the castle!!

Hi! Our family dined at Cinderella’s Royal Table in December 2009. Even though I have only sons, and they were not excited about the prospect of a “Princess Meal” our family had a blast. Make sure to allow for plenty of time in your schedule for the meal. I believe we were there about 3 1/2 hours start to finish. We were even able to watch the nightime fireworks show from our window seat! My son has food allergies and like at all Disney table service meals the chef was more than accomodated and made sure that my son had a meal he would enjoy.

We were lucky enough to get reservations for my daughter’s 6th birthday celebration, even though we decided to go less than 2-months prior. The cast member that found the reservation couldn’t believe that I got lucky enough to find an open reservation on a Saturday in that time frame. Both my son and daughter LOVED it… I think they felt like they were meeting the queen when they were “Received” by Cinderella. My son was 3 at the time and his face got bright red. I asked him what was wrong and he just said, “She’s so pretty.” His first celebrity crush! Dinner was great too. I did happen to sit under a drip in the ceiling though. My other comment is that we went for dinner and it was too much food. They could make it less expensive and they would make some adjustments, or allow a la carte ordering.

We absolutely loved it. It was definitely our daughters favorite character meal out of all the ones we went to, as well. All the princesses came to the table and spoke with each girl – we had a total of four little princesses in our party. The food was delicious and plenty for our family, too.

We ate here for breakfast on our last trip in 2009. While the food was okay, the atmosphere was stunning. I have three girls and we waited until we were able to get DD (for free through a special offer) and they were all old enough to enjoy. We made our reservation for one of the earliest seating times. That way we were able to get into Magic Kingdom before it opened and take pictures down mainstreet without anyone else really there. We also got a picture of us in front of the castle without anyone in the background.
The view from the dining area is wonderful. We watched out the stained glass as the park came to life and Dumbo began. It was magical and worth the cost for the experience and atmosphere.

My husband and I decided to take our 4 year old daughter for this for dinner. We planned it as a special 6pm dinner and then atte ded the Mickey’s Not So Scarry Halloween Party afterwards, seeig as how she was already all dressed up for dinner. The princess were all spectacular! The castle itself is pretty darn cool. Snow White was especialy attentive to my daughter and even left a big pair of red lips on her forhead from a kiss wich my daughter just thought was the coolest thing that has ever happened. The food was ok I guess, my husband thought his was great and I was not that happy with mine, my daughter has a standard WDW kids meal wich was good. I think for the price the food could be better, but the experience well made up for that. We did it once, probably won’t go back but we did enjoy the memories it created for our family.

We have eaten there as a party of 6 for both lunch and dinner. It was fabulous in our opinions. We all thought the food was really good and of better quality than some other character experiences. Maybe it is what you choose or the time of year you are there…The kids love the pics, getting the wand and sword, and the castle atmosphere. We have not visited the princess meal in Epcot, so I can’t compare to that, but I do think that compared to other larger character meals (like the buffets), you get just as much time with the princesses as you do with characters there. And for those who don’t get a reservation right away and want one, keep trying, our last trip I by accident got a reservation a week before our trip by checking online for another restaurant. CRT was the alternative recommendation! Woo hoo.

We have eaten at CRT a few times. My girls love being able to go up into the castle to eat and they really like doing the wand ceremony and seeing the princesses. There are usually only 4 princesses there and sometimes it is just 3 princesses and Mary Poppins. You get to meet Cinderella in the lobby. It is expensive and the portions of food aren’t huge. We personally like Akershus Princess dining better b/c we like the food there more and you get to meet more princesses there. The castle is more magical to eat in though.

We went in October of 2009 and had a blast. We were celebrating my daughter’s 5th birthday and they even gave her a free sundae delivered by Mary. Be sure that the adults ask for a sword and wand too, as they will hand them out (AND they break easily). We eat dinner during the firework show, which was pretty cool! The entire atmosphere is just unbelieveable for the kids!

CRT was our very first experience as a family in Disney World. It was the first thing we did when we arrived to celebrate my daughter’s 5th birthday. We did the lunch. First we met with Cinderella, did one pose with just my daughter in her Cinderella dress and then one with our whole group. My daughter was given a wand and my son a sword. We then went upstairs for lunch. The food was good but not one of my faves at The World. Character interaction was good, Aurora (my daughter’s fave) kissed my daughter on the cheek and left her lipstick behind :) My daughter loved that. My 1 yo son tried to feed Belle his noodles :) IMPORTANT NOTES** This is a signature dining restaurant so it will require two table service credits on the DDP. Also not listed in the characters (but was there when we went) was Mary Poppins. We really enjoyed our visit but have not returned because it does require 2 credits and we choose to do Akershaus for breakfast or 1900 Park Fare for dinner instead. All in all a great experience and something every Disney fan (or princess) needs to do at least once!

We were in WDW in February this year. We have 3 girls and got them all dresses (at Walmart not in the park) They had so much fun meeting Cinderella and then having the princesses come around while they ate. I loved that we got a family picture and then one of the girls alone included in the meal. I think one of their favorite parts was walking up the winding staircase. Our son was with too (He’s 11) and was very disinterested in the whole thing, however, when he asked the waiter for some more bacon he was brought out about a pound of bacon on a platter. Other than that the food was ok, it was good, but nothing spectacular. Really a memorable experience! I would recommend it if you can afford it or if you get the dining plan. It was included on our dining plan otherwise we probably wouldn’t have gone. Breakfast for 6 (our two youngest didn’t have to pay) would have been $176! (Ouch!)

We did this in September 2008 when we were in Disney with our kids, age 4 and 10 months, and my parents. We all loved it and I definately think its a fun experience to try at least once if you can afford it!! I also recommend the breakfast, which is what we did; I talked to other people who did lunch and they said those meals are somewhat less kid-friendly with the “fancier” food. The breakfast tasted great when we were there, and I was pleasantly surprised when they gave my son (the 10 month old, who was free) a good-sized plate of french toast. Definately plenty of food to eat! The kids got a magic wand and sword, and during the meal they had a “wishing star ceremony” and both kids got a wishing star to keep. The princesses all visited our table and spent a minute or two with the kids. It was brief, but most of them chatted with the kids and gave them one-on-one attention that left them in awe (I was a little upset with one princess – can’t remember who – totally ignored my son. Yes, he was a baby, but he was still there and trying to wave and get her attention). My daughter (the 4 year old) loved watching the princesses, even when they weren’t at our table. It was a great experience!! Not necessarily something I would do every trip because of the price, but I would definately like to do it one more time when we go in a few years as we now have another child (a little girl) and I want to give her this experience too.

I went with my best friend and 6 year old daughter in November 2011. We had the earliest morning reservation so got to enter the park before it opened, which was very magical. Going into the castle gave me goosebumps. It was breathtaking. Cinderella was fantastic, greeting my daughter with a huge hug and spent a good amount of time talking with her. We had to wait a few minutes after our photo until we were called for our table. We had a table next to a window and the view was spectacular. All of us loved the food. The kid meal was eggs, bacon, french toast, fruit, and juice. The adult meal was a big tray of pastries which were excellent, eggs, bacon, fruit, coffee and juice. Our waiter was excellent, very responsive and told us we could have more of anything at our table at no charge. It was more than enough for us, but that was very kind. The pastries were excellent as was the fruit. I am not an egg eater so cannot speak on that one! Belle (in her blue dress), Aurora, Snow White, and Ariel spent a nice amount of time talking to my daughter and posing for photos. She got a wand and a wishing star. We did not feel rushed one bit. Another excellent thing about the early reservation was being at that point in the park so early, we went out and walked on to countless rides further back in MK since the crowds had not made it back there yet. It was expensive, but we loved it and would do it again!!

We had breakfast in Feb 2011. The princess experience was fantastic for my niece! She was super excited to see all of the princesses! The food and service was not great. There is an automatic 18% gratutity added to your bill.

we ate there last September – they no longer do the show at dinner, instead the princesses come around. It was about that time they changed the prime rib and replaced it with another beef dish. WAY OVER PRICED Food was dry and tough and yes I know you are paying some extra to eat in the castle and meet the princesses, But IMO it wasn’t worth it at all. We may try a breakfast in a few years, but for now the experience was more than enough to last a while!

I went for breakfast last month (3/11) and I was not all that impressed, especially for the price. We waited almost 45 minutes past our scheduled time (it was not a busy park day either) and my girls (12 and 6) were getting impatient as it was hot in there and congested with people. The food was fair at best. I guess I expected more than french toast sticks and bacon for $30? I thought 1900 Fare, Chef Mickey’s and Crystal Palace were MUCH better for a lot less $$!

yes a few times.,, I will say I hate spending 2 dinning credit on it.

We had lunch there in 2009 while we celebrated my youngest daughters birthday. I had hoped for breakfast but it was impossible to get. We used a travel agent (MEI/Mouse Fan Travel) and orignally got dinner reservations. WE had to reschedule our MK visit to move it to lunch just to get to see all of the princesses as I think the characters are limited during dinner. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was decent. My three little girls were in heaven! I think if we do the dining plan again we’ll do this one! It’s pricey without the DDP!

We ate here on Dec. 17, 2010. It was by far the best experience of our trip. We had breakfast- accommodations were readily made for my vegetarian 3yo and she liked the food. The princess interaction was great, but the best thing was the ambiance of the castle. Cinderella was gracious and spent a lot of time w/ my daughter. I had left her a snow globe of the castle and a note from “Cinderella” inviting her to breakfast… when we got there and met her and Raine told her about the snow globe, she even told her how the Fairy Godmother had picked it out just for her! VERY personal interaction- my daughter was amazed! The pictures I got are amazing… and fyi, If you don’t like the picture package that comes free with the meal (I was in it- it was awful!)- you can pay around $30 to get another picture package. My 2nd package was incredible and I didn’t think $30 Disney Dollars was bad for a full picture package and the opportunity to see Cinderella again w/ no wait! Will DEFINITELY do this meal again if at all possible and recommend it to anyone w/ a “Princess-in-training!”

we had breakfast here on our 2007 trip. we got very lucky being first timers, and enjoyed breakfast with cinderella and the other princesses on christmas morning!! my oldest did bibbidi bobbidi first, then, with her dressed as cinderella, we ate a wonderful meal!!! we didn’t see the fairy godmother, but did see all the other princesses. well, jasmine, belle, and snowwhite! the only complaint we have is the wait time. we had a reservation, and still waited almost 45 minutes to get seated. once that was over, everything was great! the food was wonderful, and the service was right on! we met a very nice family seated next to us who even took pictures for us when our camera battery died!! i would totally recommend this to anyone!!

The experience itself is worth it if you have never gone, being inside the castle and the pictures, but the food was not good at all in our experience. We went there for dinner.

I completely agree!

We ate here in Dec. of 2008 with my hubby, our two little girls (then 5 and 1 yr), my brother, my sister-in-law, and myself. It was possibly the highlight of the trip. You just can’t beat getting to eat IN THE CASTLE when you’re a little girl who loves the Disney princesses. We were a party of 8, and they did split us up into two tables of four, but it was the busiest week of the year (between Christmas and New Year’s), and really it was OK. Our tables were nearby.
We ate there for lunch. We did have a wait past our ADR time, but again, it was the busiest week. The wait didn’t bother our girls much. They were all dressed in their Cinderella dresses and we spent the time taking about a zillion pictures of them.
We met Cinderella downstairs in the lobby for the picture before lunch. It was a great experience. Cinderella took her time with the girls and I loved getting the pictures. We did not, however, see Cinderella in the dining room upstairs.
The princesses we saw were: Belle, Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine. I think that it varies which princesses come. The princesses came in all at the same time, went through the room visiting each table, then left. The children were all given either a wand or a sword and a “wishing star.” These made great souvenirs.
The food was good, too. However, I am not a picky eater. I loved the ice cream sundaes the children got for dessert.
This meal took up 2 of our sit-down-meals on our dining plan, but it was definitely worth it for us because our daughters loved it. They couldn’t wait to have lunch at the castle. We will definitely be going back!

We went to disney at Christmas this past year. Cinderellas royaltable is a must. Magical experience my kids loved it. My daughter is 5, son3. They both lovved it. We went with my grandparents to celebrate mygrandmas birthday… belle came over and sang her happy birthday! It was simply amazing. A magical memory we all will never forget:)

We ate there almost six years ago before we had DD. It was okay. Friends who have eaten there say it is really good now and from what I can tell, the menu looks delicious! We have reservations there in September for our surprise trip for DD.

We ate here in December (my husband, myself and my almost three and 9 month old). The castle is awesome. The picture package that is included was nice. Ours was our family with Cinderella. They take a few shots and during the meal they bring you a folio with a pic of the castle and a 8×10 of whatever shot they like along with I think it was 4 4x6s. The ‘ambiance’ was all there. Cinderella was only downstairs for pictures. I think Belle, Aurora, Snow White and Ariel were the princesses at the meal. The food was good. A small appetizer, a meal and dessert. Although our girls were under 3 and not technically on the meal plan, they both got a plate of pasta and a dessert. They each got a wand and a small wishing star. Because we had done the meal plan, we did a couple character meals – Mickey & Friends in Epcot in the Land, Cinderella, and the preschool characters (Oso, Manny & Little Einsteins) at Hollywood and Vine. Maybe because our girls were young, but I didn’t feel like the princesses spent as much time with us as some of the other character interactions we did. And it was one brief visit from each princess mainly to my older daughter. (My younger one loved the characters, and Belle did pay attn cause she had a belle dress on :) The other character meals we saw most of the characters multiple times with attention to both girls. Oh, and when I booked, I was told that even though it was a plated meal, it was supposed to be unlimited – ie you could ask for additional servings.

We have eaten there many times over the last few years. If you are the first one with a opening reservation to get there they will make your little girl Princess of the Day. We have had this at the first dinner seatings and first thing in the morning. My DD7 felt very special both times. They get a special badge like sticker and they get to lead the first group of diners up the spiral staircase after pictures. It is a neat experience.

My pictures are the ones in the bottom left corner with my husband and I both in blue shirts. We went to CRT for our honeymoon back in September 2009, and like Wendy said, we both felt like a prince and princess at 25 years old! We loved it!
The food was great, the experience was better! I highly recommend CRT at least once!! I loved the picture they included with the package, plus they give a sword and wand to kiddos but since it was our honeymoon we got them too! (:
The view from the castle and the interaction with the characters is WELL worth the price!! LOVED THE CASTLE!!! (:

We LOVED LOVED LOVED the Castle!! We took our daughters and my cousin’s daughters for lunch in 2008 and it was by far their favorite character meal (and we hit five others while we were there). The princesses were so sweet to the girls and spent lots of time with them. The only advice I have for someone wanting to eat here is to book your reservations as soon as you book your trip (or as far out as you can). Everyone wants to eat here, so getting a reservation is sometimes hard.

I have not been here, but in doing research for my upcoming trip, many people seem to like the Akershus princess meal better, at least in terms of the character interaction and definitely for the price. I’d still like to try it one day, maybe when my kids are older and can truly appreciate that they are in the castle :)
Sherry White says
We have done both Cinderella and Akershus and I can say that Akershus was so much nicer for the princess interaction. Cinderella’s Castle was a once in lifetime experience because we have never chosen to go back.

We took our daughters last April to lunch at the castle and while the character experience was wonderful, I thought the meal was lacking at best.

I agree completely. As far as the food was concerned, we were all disappointed.

I was going to say the exact same thing, the experience was great, loved the picture with Cinderella, but the food at lunch was not good. Very disappointing and it is one restaurant I never recommend.

Hubby and I did this for our Honeymoon – I felt like a princess at 28 years old!! We loved it! The food was amazing, and Cinderella the fairy godmother, and the mice put on a GREAT show – I was trying to find the digital version of the photo of the mouse posing with my hubby that turned out so cute! The restaurant is gorgeous and we had a table with a view of the rides. We ordered different things and tasted both – yummy! You will not be disappointed!!

This has been my favorite character meal I have been too. I haven’t been to them all but I’m convinced I wouldn’t like another one more. After getting your pic with Cinderella you get to wait for someone to come to the tower and call your families name. It might have been a knight I dont remember. Then you get to go up some spiral stairs up into the castle!! When I went they gave girls wands and boys a pirate sword and they do a little activity while you’re there. The view is also fun. I mean, you’re IN the castle! How amazing is that?? Of course the characters enter in a peppy tune and dance around. The service was splendid and the food amazing.

We ate breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table in Aug of 2008 on our trip to celebrate my husbands return from Iraq! We loved it. It was so much fun to see the inside of the castle, and the food was great, fancier than the character buffet meals, but still American and very kid friendly. When we were there, you got two photo packages, so were were able to get one package of just my daughter in her Cinderella costume with the real Cinderella and one of our whole family with Cinderella. My favorite moment was watching my daughter in her princess costume, climb the curved stair case and hold up her dress just like the princesses do in the movies! I would highly recommend eating breakfast here. You have to make your reservations really early as if fills up quick, sometimes the day the reservations open, 180 days out.
