There are lot of places to eat in New Orleans Square. Each has it’s own menu and unique items they serve. I have only eaten at 1 of these places I will cover but I can’t wait to try the others.
Here is the info about each of the restaurants:
Restaurant: French Market Restaurant
Location: Between all the shops of New Orleans Square and the Haunted Mansion
Meals offered: (menu)
Roasted Citrus Chicken, Jambalaya, Roast Beef, Salad and Dessert
Adult meals are $11.99 – $14.49
Garden Salad – $3.99
Drinks cost between $1.79 and $3.49
Kids meals are $6.49 – $6.99
Toddler Meals are $3.99
Kids meal is Citrus Chicken Breast or Macaroni and Cheese. It is served with seasonal fruit and Vegetables and a choice of Low Fat Milk, Chocolate Milk, juice or small bottled water.
My experiences: My family ate here when my mom was in town. We had the citrus chicken. The food was good. I liked the vegetables. The seating arrangements were not very good however. They have a lot of tables in a very small space and it is hard to get around. There is no room for strollers in the seating area and you sit back to back with the seats behind you. It is hard to get in and out of the chairs because there is a lack of space. This restaurant would be better for families with older kids because of that.
Restaurant: Royal Street Veranda
Location: Between all the shops of New Orleans Square and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Meals offered: (menu)
Chowder and Gumbo in Bread bowls, New Orleans style Fritters, plus specialty coffees
Adult meals are $9.29
New Orleans Fritters $3.69
Drinks cost between $1.79 and $4.19
There are no Kids meals sold here.
My experiences: I have never eaten here. The seats are outside with no covering for bad weather. It is located in a rather crowded area of the park as well, but there is room for you to sit and eat.
