Adventureland is a small area but has one of the rides with the longest wait and one of the original rides in Disneyland park. It is a small area and very crowded, but fun to at least experience!
Here are the rides you can experience in Adventureland:
Enchanted Tiki Room
- This is fully audio and animatronic attraction. It is the first one in Disneyland and it was the one that paved the way for most of the other disneyland rides out there.
- Inside the attraction the birds and flowers talk and interact with the audience. They also sing and “dance.”
- Good attraction for all ages
- It last from start to finish about 15 minutes.
Jungle Cruise
- On this ride you sit in a boat to go on a jungle river. You are able to see many animals and even jungle natives!
- This ride is wheelchair accessable
- This is a good ride for all ages, but there is one part where a gun is firing blanks that may scare young children.
- One of the original rides of Disneyland
Indiana Jones Adventure
- You must be at least 46″ (117 cm) to ride this ride.
- This ride has fast passes and they go fast. this is a very popular ride!
- This is Wheelchair accessible if the person can transfer into the ride car.
- This ride rocks, speeds up and slows down quickly, and has fire and other things in it. If you have any physical problems that relate to the heart or blood pressure it isn’t recommended that you go on this ride.
- In this ride you are sent to an adventure where Indiana Jones is trying to save you from the natives and all the danger you see in the indiana Jones movies. You sit in an exploration car and race through caves and tunnels.
- This ride has snakes, spiders, and other insects and animals in it. if you are very scared of any of these you may want to not ride this ride as some of them look very real.
Tarzan’s Treehouse
- This is a walking only ride.
- You climb stares and go through the story of Tarzan.
- Through the ride there are parts of the story to read and other things to listen too.
- At the end there is a camp where you can bang on pots and pans, make the fire roast and learn about Tarzan through a slide show you turn. There are so many things to discover int he camp so plan on staying a few minutes to discover it all!
