Disney World Planning Tips: Grab A Times Guide For Character, Show and Parade Times. The Times Guide is located at the front of each park. This guide is released every week and contains that week’s park hours, parade and show times and times and locations of character meet and greets. This is a must have for everyone that is in the parks. I always pick up a couple to carry with me just in case I lose one.
If you forget to grab one on the way into the park, most souvenir stands and shops have one by the register. You can also ask the custodial Cast Members for one. They usually have them in the pouch around their waist.
If you are staying on Walt Disney World property, don’t miss the Extra Magic Hours.

Times guides definitely come in handy when visiting the parks. They will tell you where all the character meet and greets are however if you are looking for a particular character you can also ask a cast member to help you as well. For instance I saw on the guide that there was a meet and greet by Pirates of the Caribbean and knew from other family members that it was Pirate Goofy (Who I love). I asked a cast member what time he was going to be there and they told me 15 after. I was first on line to get my picture before I knew it a huge line formed behind me after he arrived.
