When you are on your next Walt Disney World Trip, be sure to watch for extra magic moments at Disney. Disney Theme Parks feature all kinds of extra fun moments for the kids.
We’ve found hula hoops, bubbles, matching games, hop scotch, bean bag toss, chalk drawing, robots giving out stickers and a lot more. Always look around you when you are in the parks. You never know what you might find.
One of my and my children’s favorite experiences at Disney was when we were at Epcot after dark and the sidewalk under their feet started lighting up in random patterns. Even though they were exhausted, they chased those lights for quite a while. You just never know when something special and unexpected is going to happen! – Diana

I have to say Disney is a very magical place. We vacationed in FL this past week and or the first one decided to stay off Disney property to save money and have a larger space. We opted for summer bay resort. It was a nice resort but upon arrival Sunday at 4 we were evacuated at 11:30pm because our hotel was slipping into a sink hole. We lost some items and started off on a horrible foot. The costumer service at summer bay was horrendous until the media started showing up. Anyways, after 2 days at the hotel and getting resituated we started our vacation. We first went to animal kingdom. During our lunch at Tusker house I met with the chef to discuss my daughters food allergies. She went through each and every item in the buffet line and told me what items were okay and what to avoid. My daughter then asked for rice which was something we could not give her because it was topped with almonds. Without hesitation, The chef went out back and made her plain white rice. She was so happy. During our talks she asked where we were saying and when I told her she couldn’t believe it. At the end of our dinner she came over and said our dinner was on her and that she wanted us to enjoy our time at Disney and have a magical day. We couldn’t believe it. The next day we went to Hollywood studios. As we entered a research team member approached us and asked if she could ask us a few questions. One of the questions ended up being if we were staying on or off Disney property and where we were staying. When she heard were we were staying we started talking and again she couldn’t believe it. She asked us our names and for my husbands cell phone number and said shed be in touch. About an hour later she called and said she got us lunch reservations at Hollywood and vine character dinning and that it would be extra magical. Upon arrival we were greeted by a waiter as well as a manager. They provided us with seating, extra 1:1 character time, fast passes for all the popular rides, ice cream vouchers and preferred seating for fantasmic. We couldn’t believe what was happening. They all went above and beyond to make sure the girls had a magical day! The next day we went to magic kingdom. We gave our two girls (3 and 5) the option to go to bibbity boppity boutique or pirate makeover. They both wanted to do the pirate makeover. While sitting in the chairs (on separate sides of the room) they were both asked where they were staying. Not knowing the name of the hotel my little one said “the sinking hotel”. Her stylist looked at me like what is she talking about. At this time I explained and we started laughing. At the end of their makeovers the two stylist asked if they could give them a surprise and they have them complete pirate outfits (dresses, hats, etc) to go along with their makeovers. We could not believe the kindness and compassion of every Disney employee that we have encountered. What a horrific and scary start to our vacation but an amazingly magical end!

This post really sums up why Disney is so wonderful–they just go above and beyond to make it seem magical. One of my and my children’s favorite experiences at Disney was when we were at Epcot after dark and the sidewalk under their feet started lighting up in random patterns. Even though they were exhausted, they chased those lights for quite a while. You just never know when something special and unexpected is going to happen!

One time a CM was just stopped on the sidewalk and took out a broom, dipped it in water and “drew” a BIG Mickey face on the sidewalk. It was amazing! My children and I just stopped and stared for a good 10 minutes while she created this masterpiece. Very cool and a “magical moment” everyone still talks about.
