Little girls love sparkles. At least I know mine does. Here’s a simple way to make your own Pixie Dust Necklace for your little princess.
All you need is some ribbon or string, glitter (don’t hate me) and small glass jars with eye hooks attached. I bought a package of three at a local craft store for $2.99. I poured a small amount of glitter into a Dixie Cup. Then while holding the glass jar over a paper plate, I squeezed the top of the Dixie Cup to make an easy pour “spout”, and poured my glitter into the jar. If you had a tiny funnel, that would work, too.
Next, I placed a small amount of craft glue on the rim of the jar (you can use hot glue if you’d like), and then replaced the cork lid. I let the glue dry, added a string (make sure to measure first to make sure it’ll fit over your child’s head) and tied a knot. Now you have your very own Pixie Dust Necklace. I also must add that the glitter cleanup was very minimal in this process. I am NOT a fan of glitter, but I only found a couple stray pieces on the counter. The rest was contained to the cup and plate, thank goodness!
