I love hearing stories from people that have found my blog helpful and that tell me what they have done with their knowledge! This story from Kristin F just made my day!
I’m sure you hear it all the time, and I don’t mean at all to sound
cliche but your blog changed my life! I heard about c2d actually at a
couponing workshop I attended at a friend’s church. I didn’t expect
much of the class…just that it sounded interesting. I came home with
my notes and checked out your blog….! I was SO INTRIGUED! :) And
decided to give it all a try.
I did a lot of reading/printing/planning from your page…and kind of
took it all slowly. It has been 3 years or so since that time. I am a
stay at home mom, so we are a 1 income household…I now see couponing
as my second job (mom/homemaker being my first) — it is my financial
contribution to our home. And one I feel so blessed to be able to do!
Even to see that the trip we just took was paid in full LONG
beforehand…and it was in a huge part due to coupons/saving! Crazy as
some may think that is….its true! It really does work if you make
the conscience effort. And after a bit, it just becomes a way of life.
I will never look at finances the same way again. Instead of
roadblocks or limits because of our income level, I see opportunity
and creative possibilities. Now, I actually enjoy the challenge of
making it all come together!!
I feel super blessed too to have our SavEars group. I feel so much
love, friendship and understanding there. Its awesome…!
I feel like God led me to all these incredible tools so I would share
it with others…I cant wait to share my excitement, enthusiasm and
encouragement to finding freedom from the pressures of debt and money.
