So for the past 6 months we haven’t been “Couponing to Disney“. My readers that have been with me for a while know all the personal struggles we have been through – from the surprise pregnancy, to Emily’s ruptured appendix, to losing our baby at 19 weeks – things didn’t go according to plan. That is why we decided to just pay outright for a trip to heal our hearts. It was much needed and we had a fabulous time.
But now it’s time to get back to Couponing to Disney. I have just 8 short months to find $2500 (our goal is $3,000) for our trip in November. We are taking my mother in law and nephew with us on this trip so we are going to have to be resourceful!
Deposit:
$37.33 from Ebates
$5 from an amazing anonymous reader who snuck it in a sympathy card to cheer me up! Thank you!
$25 gift card from another AMAZING reader who snuck it into a Christmas Card. Thank you!

Don’t forget that you can now showcase your own Disney funds via the Couponing to Disney message board! (See how to do it here.) You are more than welcome to link to your thread in the comments below!
I’m making a big deposit tomorrow. $30 left over from our dining budget, $25 – 30 left over from the grocery budget. We got a $40 rebate for buying tires, and I got a $10 check for doing a survey about the Disney Vacation club, so that’s $110 or so into the fund. I just deposited over $200 last week from all our coins, and the $10 a week I’ve been taking out of my allowance since January. I’m expecting a $29 check from shopathome, and another from Synovate for doing surveys. It’s getting bigger, and I”m getting more excited…
Out of that $603 not one NBPR rebate deposit? Did you stop submitting them? IMO, you are giving up so much easy money. If and your MIL take advantage of these rebates, you should have no problem achieving your goal.
Thank you so much for this site….I an a RN who up until this past week had been working mon-fri, which left little time to start even thinking about another WDW trip. DH says the roof needs to be replaced so any tax return and so on will be all for the roof. This past weekend I started working weekends ONLY!!! Sat and Sun, 12 hours a day. This has now given me the Disney bug for late next year or early the year after. I have starting doing surveys and Mypoints again and will keep that money for WDW. We have a baby coming (so sorry for the loss of yours) but my boys are always talking about WDW. You have given me the motivation to get my butt in gear and ‘earn’ my way to WDW by doing some of what you have listed! Thanks so much!
I am so glad to see you post a deposit!! I have been wondering and waiting! Excellent deposit :-)
Hi Kristen & fellow couponers,
I’m not sure if this information will help anyone with their vacation fund but if you use Discover card you might want to check out their %5 cash back deals that they run monthly. For our most recent trip we were able to get %5 back on Travel & Restaurants. That was what they offered for the months of Jan*Feb*March.
For the months of Jult*Aug* Sept They are offering %5 cash back on Gas,Hotels, movies and best of all THEME PARK TICKETS! Great for us DVC’ers who buy our annual passes ;o)Maybe most of you have the Disney Visa but this might help out those who have Discover card.Check out the site for details and just a heads up….you have to call the number to activate it for each month.(Seems silly but it’s an automated system that is pie!)

We’re saving for our June trip!! My best friend, her husband & their daughter is coming with us & we’re splitting the cost(we booked a family suite @ All Stars Music, 6 day tix & the quick service dining plan)-the total was $4300, so our cost is a little over $2000 & we have $900 so far…we only have 6 weeks left before we have to pay the remaining balance!! I’m a littler nervous! :)
btw-i love the forum! http://couponingtodisney.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=disneyfund&thread=159&page=1
