To make the most of your day, here are 5 attractions to visit before 10 am in Animal Kingdom.
Mickey and Minnie at Adventurers Outpost – We love starting off our morning meeting our favorite characters. Because this is an air conditioned attraction, it can quickly see long waits. We head here first while everyone else is headed to elsewhere.
TriceraTop Spin – If you have small kids, make TriceraTop Spin your first ride of the day. Everyone heads straight to the Kilimanjaro Safari so that leaves Dinoland practically empty. We’ve been able to ride this attraction 5 times in a row without even leaving our dino. Sometimes I ride this with my youngest while my oldest and my husband go off to ride something else.
Primeval Whirl – After you’ve had your fill of TriceraTop Spin, head over to Primeval Whirl. You can walk right on this attraction this time of the morning. There are 2 identical tracks, so we always try to do both sides before we move on.
Dinosaur – Another attraction that has a minimal wait in the morning is Dinosaur. It can be scary for little kids, so make sure you watch a YouTube ride through before your visit. My daredevil loves it and my sensitive son will tolerate it once if we ask nicely.
Kilimanjaro Safari – To round out the first hour in the park, I recommend you book a Fastpass+ reservation for 9:45 – 10:45 am for the safari. The animals will still be plenty active and you will have now accomplished 5 things on your to do list leaving the rest of your day available for shows, animals and more character meets.
I recommend your remaining two Fastpass+ reservations be for Flight of Passage and Kali River Rapids (make it for just before you leave the park).
