One of the great things about a Disney vacation is your park tickets give you unlimited rides on as many attractions you can squeeze in. There is so much to do and see, which means so much to miss! Below are 5 Ride hacks that first time guests do not typically know. Be in the know with these 5 tidbits.
Best Seats on Soarin’
Have you ever wondered by the Eifel Tower on Soarin’ looks more like the leaning tower of Pisa? It is because of the curved screen used on this attraction, and not snagging the right seat! If you want the best view, try to get a seat in the middle. Then you will not get such a distorted view. The best seat in the house is Course B, Row 2. However, if you want an unobstructed view without guests feet dangling in front of you, a top row seat is best.
The Fastest Seat on a Coaster
If you are a trill seeker you are in luck! Disney World has many coasters from Slinky Dog Dash to Expedition Everest and more. If you want the most thrilling ride, sit in the very back. Want the best view? Ask for a front seat!
Day Vs. Night on Big Thunder Mountain
There is a debate that Big Thunder Mountain is actually faster in the evening. Some say it is faster because the grease on the track has been warmed up all day and especially if it has cooled down in the evening allowing dew to form on the tracks. Some say it only seems faster at night because you can’t see the tracks and the dark gives the illusion of more speed. Ride Big Thunder Mountain during the day and the evening to come up with your own opinion!
Best Time To Ride Kilimanjaro Safari
Head to Animal Kingdom and be treated to an African Safari in Florida! Guests will see Giraffes, Elephants and more. Now you may be wondering when is the best time to ride, i.e. when are animals most active? The best time is early in the morning or in the evening, as the animals do not like the mid-day heat anymore than us humans. A light rain is also a good time for active animal sightings.
