1. The Name – Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Splash Mountain will be rethemed into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure coming to Magic Kingdom in Florida and Disneyland park in California. The name of the reimagined attraction was dropped at the 2022 ESSENCE Fest in New Orleans recently.

2. The Storyline & Theming
During the reimagined attraction guests will follow the story from the final kiss, where the film leaves off. Naveen and Louis (and you) will join Tiana on her latest adventure. Everyone is welcomed as Tiana hosts a one-of-a-kind Mardi Gras celebration. During the attraction guests will hear original music inspired by Disney’s Princess and The Frog. With Princess Tiana as your leader, see old friends and meet new ones as well in the backdrop of New Orleans and the Louisiana bayou. It will be a musical adventure!

3. Opening Timeframe
Splash Mountain will be rethemed into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure coming to Magic Kingdom in Florida and Disneyland park in California in late 2024!

4. Tiana’s Look For the attraction
Above, see Tiana’s new look for the rethemed attraction. Her attire is inspired by the 1920s era, when this story takes place, and with her home in the bayou in mind.
5. Why Retheme Splash Mountain?
Disney had this to say about the retheming of Splash Mountain, as on originaly posted summer 2020 on Disney Parks Blog:

It’s a continuous process that Imagineers are deeply passionate about. The new concept is inclusive – one that all of our guests can connect with and be inspired by, and it speaks to the diversity of the millions of people who visit our parks each year.”
