Magic Kingdom is home to Cinderella’s Castle and many attractions. As you travel from Main St to Fantasyland and so on, sooner or later you may need a break. Below are 5 perfect places to relax at Magic Kingdom. Take a break or stop to people watch (one of Walt Disney’s favorite past times).
1. Central Plaza Area
Also known as The Hub is the perfect place to stop and relax. It is a picnic perfect area, since Disney World allows small coolers into the parks – a picnic is possible! The Hub contains a beautiful water fountain which lights up in the evening, statues, topiaries and grassy areas to sit. Find this area just before Cinderella’s Castle on Main St USA.
2. Main Street Seating
Just before The Hub on Main St USA, to your left and right find an array of tables and chairs. These areas are the perfect spot to stop and have a snack, coffee or ice-cream. Stop at Starbucks on Main St USA and then walk up to this seating area, accommodating many guests. Each table has an attached umbrella, making for shaded seating with views of the Castle.
3. Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover will get you off your feet for a solid 10 minutes, while you ride. Guests will enjoy sneak peaks of Space Mountain, an early model of Epcot and more on this relaxing tour of Tomorrowland.
4. Baby Care Center
There is a Baby Care Center found at each of the 4 main parks of Disney World. Magic Kingdom’s is located off of Main St USA. Parents will find a private nursing room with rocking chairs, changing tables, kitchen with microwave, an area with TV and chairs/sofa and more inside. Perfect for you and your little ones to stop and refresh.
5. Tomorrowland Speedway
Nascar Fans, feel at home in the stands of the Tomorrowland Speedway. Or, for anyone looking to get out of the sun, the benches at Tomorrowland Speedway are covered and not often crowded. Let your group ride this attraction while you get off your feet for awhile.
