If you are considering where you should book your next visit, here are 5 reasons to stay at a Walt Disney World value resort.
You’ll pay less than any other on-site resort. The value resorts are the least expensive rooms on property. If you are on a limited budget, don’t plan to spend much time in your room or you need multiple rooms to accommodate your family, the values are a great choice. These resorts will provide everything you need to make your vacation magical.
You are on Walt Disney World property. Staying on property keeps the magic alive from the time you pass under the welcome arch until you leave. Cast Members are there to help you both in the parks and at your resort. You can take Disney transportation so that you don’t have to deal with the stress of traffic in Orlando. And if you need to go back to your resort for anything, it is just a hop, skip and a jump away.
Value resorts are for families. Families make up the majority of people who stay at value resorts. The lobby, food court, pools and common areas of the resort are full of kids and young people. You won’t get any disapproving looks from other guests here for having kids at this resort. Since there are so many families, it can get a little loud. Pack a sound machine and you’ll still sleep like a baby!
You enjoy Disney food. Each value resort has a food court with multiple cuisines that are sure to please everyone. You’ll find a number of Disney themed snacks and desserts. For breakfast, you can get delicious Mickey shaped waffles. If you are using the Disney Dining Plan (only people who stay at a Disney resort are eligible), you can use it to cover the entrees, snacks and desserts in the food court.
Eligible for on-site benefits. There are a number of perks for Disney guests who stay on property. You can book the Disney Dining Plan which can help you save on the cost of food during your vacation. You can book dining reservations for your entire stay 180 days in advance of your arrival day (off site guests can only book 180 days before each day of their trip). You can book Fastpass+ reservations 60 days before you arrive (off site guests can only book 30 days in advance). Each day, one of the Disney parks is either opens 1 hour early or stays open 2 hours late for on site guests. And if you are traveling during a peak time like Christmas or Easter, you are guaranteed access to at least one Disney park per day should they close due to capacity.
