1. Just Keep Trying
Much like the advice from Dory, “Just keep swimming…”, just keep trying. Diligence and patience will go far in trying to grab a Fastpass+ beforehand. Windows for Fastpass+ reservations open up at 60 days out for Walt Disney World Resort guests and 30 days out for non resort guests, both at 7am EST.
Still no luck? Check the My Disney Experience App through out your vacation, you never know when one might just open up. Especially early mornings on day of your visit to Epcot.
2. Split up your group
If you are part of a larger group and trying to get a Fastpass+ for everyone if your group for the same time, this could be tricky. Consider, splitting up as a group and going in pairs, chances are greater for smaller numbered parties to get a Fastpass+ versus a large group. If you time different Fastpass+ windows just right, it is possible to get overlapping times and still be able to ride as a group.
3. Timing
The early bird gets the worm. Be here early, many swear by getting to the park by rope drop and simply heading staright to the ride. Or, the night owl has a chance too when going at off times, such as during fireworks.
Or stick it out to the very end, and get in line 15 minutes prior to park closing. As long as a guest is in line before closing time, they will get to ride. This would be a nice way to end your night at the park, and often many guests have cleared out by this time.
4. Dine at Akershus
Another suggestion is to get an 8:00am reservation to Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, choose a morning with no extra magic hours and you will be there before park opening. Then since you are in Norway head to the ride after breakfast and get in line.
5. Frozen Ever After Dessert Party
This is a way for a guaranteed opportunity to ride Frozen, without a Fastpass+ or line. The Frozen Ever After Dessert Party is a whole new way to experience IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. After enjoying IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, guests of the Dessert Party will enjoy an exclusive ride on the popular attraction, Frozen Ever After in Epcot’s Norway.
