1. Transportation
All Disney World resorts offer complimentary transportation to Disney parks. Select Moderate Resorts offer transportation other than the traditional busses. For instance, from Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter or Port Orleans Riverside take a boat ride to Disney Springs. Guests of Fort Wilderness can enjoy a boat ride to Magic Kingdom. Furthermore, Disney’s Caribbean Resort will have a stop for Disney Skyliner.
2. Waterslide
Each of the Moderate Resorts offer a fun addition to the main pool, that value Resorts do not. Guests at Moderate resorts will enjoy a waterslide, slide again and again. This is a highlight for many children, and often has little to no wait, compared to park attractions!
Additionally, guests of either Port Orleans Resort get a unique perk. Port Orleans French Quarter and Port Orleans Riverside are sister Resorts, and share amenities, even the pool. These are the only 2 Resorts on property where guests can use another Resort’s pool, pool hopping is otherwise not allowed.
3. Horse Drawn Carriage Rides
For this fun add-on, visit Fort Wilderness or Port Orleans-Riverside to experience a horse drawn carriage ride. This is a unique way to experience either Resort. Soak in views during your 25 minute experience, while you ride in style around the Resort grounds.

6. Table-Service Restaurants
A perk of Moderate Resorts is they offer at least one sit-down restaurant, in addition to lounges and a Resort food court. A gem of Port Orleans Restaurant for great food is Boatwright’s Dining Hall.
