1. Location
Space 220 Restaurant will be located in World Discovery (currently Future World) at EPCOT. As announced at the 2019 D23 Expo, Epcot will become 4 neighborhoods: World Showcase, World Celebration, World Nature and World Discovery. Find Space 220 within the Mission: SPACE pavilion, as a new expansion next to the Mission: SPACE attraction.
2. Opening Timeframe
This eatery was originally slated to open in 2019 and Disney World recently gave us a new timeframe to look forward to. Space 220 restaurant will open for guests mid-September in 2021, just ahead of WDW’s 50th Anniversary celebration starting October 1.
3. Concept Restaurant
The Space 220 restaurant is a new concept restaurant run by Patina Restaurant Group. The Space themed restaurant will offer guests views of space (from above earth), for an out of this world dining experience. It is listed by Disney World as a Unique/Themed Dining experience.

4. Meaning Behind The Name, Space 220
Guests will check-in at the Departure Lounge located in current Future World. Then travel in one of the two “Space Elevators” transporting guests 220 miles above Earth (hence, the name!) to dine with views of Centauri Space Station and a panoramic view of Earth below.
5. 1,000 Bottles of Wine & Craft Beer
For guests 21+, there are more than 1,000 bottles of wines and a craft beer selection! This is quite an impressive number. Also find, out-of-this-world cocktails on the menu.
6. On The Menu
Expect to find modern American cuisine on the menu. Lunch includes a two-course prix fixe menu and a three-course prix fixe menu for dinner. This will be a fine dining experience with gourmet recipes and a contemporary fare. Exact menu still to be released.
7. Enjoy Celestial Views Throughout your experience
Part of the experience are the incredible views. The views begin when you board your space elevator and are treated to an aerial view of EPCOT as you travel above Earth through the viewports. While dining, guests will have views of Earth at daytime and nighttime 220 miles up.
