If you are taking little ones on your trip, you need to read these tips on using a stroller at Walt Disney World.
One of the biggest budget busters is the cost of a stroller rental at Walt Disney World. A single stroller is $15 a day, but a double stroller is $31 a day! If you are staying for 7 nights and planning to rent a double, it will cost you $189 (there is a discount for a multi-day rental). For a single, you will pay $91 after the discount.
Disney strollers are also not very comfortable, can be hard to push and you aren’t allowed to take them out of the park. So that means that you will have to carry the child to the resort and a sleeping child can get very heavy.
Here are some ideas (besides the obvious of bringing your own):
1. Stop by Walmart or Target and buy a cheap umbrella stroller. You can toss it at the end of your trip if you can’t transport it or pass it on to a family checking in. You can also see if the front desk will take it and donate it to someone in need.
2. Go online and chose a good single or double stroller. For a single I recommend Kolcraft Cloud Plus Lightweight Stroller, Fire Red and for a double I recommend Dream On Me Double Twin Stroller, Black. You can ship items to your Disney resort in your name 2 weeks before you are due to check in. Disney will also help you ship them home or you can donate it.
3. Consider renting a stroller from one of the many different stroller rental services in Orlando.

Great tips! Also when we visited WDW this past Spring we learned that wagons are not permitted on any Disney property. We thought we’d be smart and bring our collapsable canvas wagon…no bueno! We weren’t allowed to bring it into the part and at Downtown Disney we were asked to put it back in our car. :-( A cast member said it was dangerous to others. (And so is second hand smoke, but I kept that comment to myself and politely complied.)
