A cat is the only cat who knows where it’s at. This is a universal truth.
A question we see a lot in the SavEars is: what Disney name should I use for my new cat? Well, the good (and maybe not so good?) news is that the options are really endless. If you are a cat lover who also happens to be a Disney lover there are no shortage of great names to bestow upon your feline. As many names as there are Disney characters, really.
But then, where do you start? How do you pick when the options are infinite?
If you’re looking to narrow the name pool down, why not start with names specifically given to cats in Disney properties? To help inspire your name choosing, we’ve gathered up our favorite Disney cats and sorted them into categories for maximum perfect fit finding. Let’s get to these cool cats and kittens!

Carol says
We have O’Malley, who looks like Disney’s O’Malley, and Oliver, who doesn’t look like Disney’s Oliver but arrived with the name.
Jane says
We have a male orange Tom that my. husband calls Mufasa. He is the sweetest cat but he is also very protective. He is so big. He loves to cuddle with my husband. We live on a farm and we have had several cats. But Mufasa LOVES my husband.
Tanya says
We have had O’Malley and Dutchess before. They were semi-feral cats that eventually roamed elsewhere. Our current sweet baby is Lilian named after Walt Disney’s wife.
