Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom is home of the famous Dole Whip. The Dole Whip is a blend of pineapple, orange, vanilla or swirled flavors. And it is the most popular snack at Walt Disney World. The Dole Whip cup or Dole Whip Float are both are part of the Disney Dining Plan.
Aloha Isle and Sunshine Tree Terrace recently swapped locations, so be sure to head over to behind the Magic Carpets for your Dole Whip treat!

My experience: We have eaten here. Our favorite is the Pineapple Float. Yum! Lines can quickly form for this restaurant, so make sure you get there when it opens at 10 am. It is now located behind Aladdin’s Magic Carpets in the old Sunshine Tree Terrace location. Sunshine Tree Terrace is now located where Aloha Isle used to be.

Good to know.
We’re doing Disneyland for our Make a Wish because the kids are still so small. Plus I’ve always planned on going there first — so that’s where all my expertise is (tho I have picked up SO much about WDW thanks to you, Kristen ;))
& I am working on our MUST EAT list right now & literally just wrote down “Tiki Juice Bar for Dole Whip” on the list right before I read the article… Hahaha! I’m pretty sure I’m going to become addicted & regret this decision ;)
We did both when we were there. We went the day after Christmas. It was packed. We wanted Dole Whip but the line was crazy so we got it at the Polynesian on the way back to Shade of Green. It was a nice treat for the walk. The two days later we were back at Magic Kingdom and wanted Dole Whip again and got it around 10:30 with maybe 2 people in front of us. Yummy!!!
Last year we stayed at Aulani and went to the Dole pineapple plantation twice to get dole whip. This stuff is amazing !
I have another Secret for you for less than 30 dollars you can have the actual Dole Whip Mix shipped to your house, that along with a Cuisinart Ice Cream maker and you can have it anytime. My wife is slowly working her way through her first batch and says it is heavenly, no line, no waiting, and a little taste of Disney from 1500 miles away
That’s pretty awesome :)
With the Polynesian undergoing construction in the Main Ceremonial House soon, the Dole Whip machine is going away while the counter service is being refurbished.
Thanks! I checked and it looks like it is suppose to re-open at the end of June. I updated the post. :)
