Walt Disney World has an ambitious goal to achieve net-zero emissions by 2030!
They are making a step forward with the announcement and development of 2 brand new solar arrays. This means Walt Disney World Resort will have 40% of the energy supplied by the sun!
Two new solar arrays are in the works, and these will double Walt Disney World’s solar energy resources. The 75-megawatt arrays will total 1,000 acres combined in two locations: Gilchrist County and Polk County. Both are expected to be online in early 2023.
