It can effect each guest differently and in different areas of the body. It is most common in areas where clothing or socks are covering and sweat glands are blocked. Avoid heat rash by staying cool and hydrated.

I’m so glad I found this! I grew up in Florida and going to parka. Now I’m older I needed better shoes pushing kids around. My legs started getting bumps, my ankels swelled and my ankes got it bad. Later I got home cooled off and they itched….and now I’m reading here there is a disney rash! I beleave it
Just an fyi. The city of Anaheim where Disneyland is does not use regular chlorine but uses chloramine (chlorine plus ammonia). You can see skin rashes caused by chloramine by googling Citizens Concerned About Chloramine.
So I’ve been at Disney and universal studios for 7 days and I have the rash bad… it’s all over my ankles on both feet and it hurts… I go back home in 2 days… question though does chlorine in pools help or make it worse…I’ve been using the gel from the first aide but doesn’t help much
To be honest I went in the pool alot when I had it. It seemed to help with the itchiness but my legs were both super swollen so the cold/luke warm water didnt help to much in that aspect, but it did help with the itchyness.
I have had it too. It does go away and according to my doctor was nothing to be concerned about. Just follow the tips listed above.
I just got home from Disney and I have this rash that seems to be spreading. I thought it might be eczema until my daughter woke up today with bumps on her ankle. Will it go away or should I go to urgent care?
My daughter got it really bad while at Disney, a few days at home and it cleared up on its own, once we were no longer in Florida heat and walking 10+ miles daily.
My husband and I have been going to Disney World twice a year for the past few years. We were there December 17-22 of this year. I get this rash every time we go — even in December!
Just returned from a trip and day 3 when my itchiness was getting bad and looked like hives I looked up the shampoo ingredients… It has wheat! I went and spoke to guest services and they provided us with herbal essence to replace the in room products – and I got better! Since this is a yearly trip and I’ve experienced the rash each time I took some Plexus Body Cream with me – I truly believe it provided refief from the wheat immediately. Be ware for those with gluten sensitivity/allergy.
Crossing my fingers. I have never gotten the Disney crash but I am going to WDW in July and my skin is getting more sensitive in my old age.
A worker at HS approached me when I was suffering with the rash and told me to put baby powder on the rash. It actually worked, I had tried everything else and the powder and cool clothes at night really helped.
That looks like 5th disease to me. My son had a horrible case that ended him up in the ER and it lasted for weeks. Does it get worse when in heat or after hot shower? My sun ended up on high dose of steroids too.
