Are you an adult woman who has seen your daughter or other small girl get a fab makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and thought, “I want one!” ?
Girl, same.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique came around long after my childhood turned into a pumpkin, so I never got the chance to have a Fairy Godmother sprinkle pixie dust on my fabulous new hairdo and send me off into the parks for an enchanting day of strangers telling me what a beautiful princess I am. Anybody relate?
But guess what?! The clock is turning back for you and me, because Disney is now offering a pampering package for ADULTS. It’s our time to shine, ladies!
Character Couture is a chance for grown ups to transform into the princess (or villain) of their dreams through custom hair, makeup, and nail styling.
Offered at four locations at Walt Disney World, Character Couture offers participate to channel their inner Disney character with stylists creating a unique look just for you. It is offered for adults, teens and tweens, as well as kids aged 4 and up.
Styling Options include:
- Hairystyling- $75 adult, $60 for 12 and under
Hairstyle of your choice like cascading curls, intricate braids or an elegant updo. This is hairstyle only-no shampoos or cuts. Think wedding up do or prom, with heat styling and glitter available. There are no “set looks”, so come to your appointment with ideas and pictures of which character you’d like to channel. The price includes a consultation with your stylist.

You can book your Character Couture appointment 180 days out by calling 407-WDW-GLAM or (407) 939-4526. This is one of those things you cannot book online. If you’ve booked a package with one of our amazing TAs, Elizabeth Mallers or Erin Manor Johnson, they can take care of it for you! Pro-tip: Book earlier in the day so you have the chance to enjoy your cute look all over property: at the parks, your dining reservation, meeting your character inspiration!
This would be an amazing experience for a Girls’ Trip or a treat yo’ self moment on your next trip. I mean, you worked hard planning and saving, you deserve to look like the princess you are when you’re park hopping! It’s also a great option for teens and tweens who have outgrown the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique of it all, but still want to do something magical.
Are you dying to try this, like me? What character would you base your look on? Have you already tried it? Tell me everything in the comments!

Carey says
Does anyone know if you have to bring your own hair accessories, or do they provide anything like that for you?
BrandyandDave says
Yes you can bring your own. my daughter and I have done this a few times already. It’s so fun!
Tracy Carson says
Oh I so want to do this!
Tamara says
So if you have short hair but want to be a long haired princess, do they do extensions or something?? I feel like they wouldn’t but maybe…
Kristen says
Tamara, I don’t think they do extensions. But there are a lot of reviews where people brought in hair accessories like crowns, flowers, themed clips, so maybe you can channel your favorite long haired princess with a hair accessory worth of her!
David says
Can we make this happen at Disney Land and also include the Men? I have always wanted to do this but never been able to as it’s a girls only kinda deal. Price packages needed.

I did the BBB when it first opened. I was 40+years old at the time. I asked if there was an age restriction and was told, “everyone is a princess here”. Sadly, they changed that rule later but I have my pictures and awesome memories of that day.
Darlene says
What year was that? I have been upset at myself for never bringing my daughter but I didn’t even know about it. She is an adult now.
Kristen says
WOW! That is so cool. What a special memory.
