The Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno takes place daily from 7:30 AM – 12:05 PM. While you dine Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider will visit your table. There is also a parade and a sing-a-long with the characters.
The price is $34 per adult and $20 for children. The meal starts with your choice of a yogurt parfait or fruit cup along with fresh pastries. For the entree, you can choose between a selection including Shipwreck Al Forno (calzone with sausage gravy, fennel sausage, bacon, peppers and more), Tangled Eggs (served with breakfast potatoes and bacon or sausage), and the Golden Frittata (served in a skillet).
Location: On Disney’s BoardWalk; You do not need a park ticket to dine here.

Meals offered: Breakfast
Characters: Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. Merida and Princess Elena might also make an experience.
My recommended reservation time: 7:30 AM and then you can enter Epcot through the International Gateway. Or visit between 10:30 – 11:00 AM after riding the popular attractions in Epcot.
My experience: We were able to score a breakfast reservation on opening day. We checked in 15 minutes early and we were seated 5 minutes before our listed reservation time. When we arrived at the table, fresh pastries were waiting on us along with a Bon Voyage map which would be a great thing to have the characters autograph. Our waitress also brought fresh orange juice to the table when she greeted us along with autograph cards from all 4 of the characters. We were able to select between fresh fruit or a yogurt parfait as a starter.
For the entree, we selected 5 different dishes:
Dairy free kids Mickey Waffles
Tangled Eggs (served with breakfast potatoes and bacon or sausage)
Flounder’s Flapjacks
Tower of Pancakes
and the Golden Frittata (served in a skillet)
The characters were announced individually by a prerecorded greeting. They each walked all the way through the dining room before beginning their rotation in the far back corner (which is where we were seated, yay!).
First to the table was Flynn Rider. He talked to the kids about having dreams and then presented each child with a card from his satchel to write their own dream on.
Rapunzel was next and she spent the longest with the children. She was so excited to talk about Pascal and painting and having dreams. She wore the same outfit you see her in the parks.
Price Eric stopped by next. He was very regal and excellent posture. He stood at attention with the kids for their pictures.
When Ariel was introduced, there was a special parade around the dining room. She looked absolutely stunning in her green gown. When she stopped by our table, she was so excited to interact with the baby especially.
Just before we finished our meal, we were invited to join the characters in a sing-a-long. That was quite entertaining.
Overall this is the best character breakfast of all the ones at Walt Disney World. The interactions were fun, the food was tasty and well themed around Rapunzel’s story and the whole staff seemed to really enjoy being part of this new adventure. Our waitress was fabulous and one of the best we have had on Disney property!
Another reader of mine dined at the breakfast as well. Here are pictures of more of the food offerings:

We went in July of 2017 and yes, all the characters signed autograph books (plus they signed a photo mat) they spent time with everyone, kids and adults. It was truly a fabulous meal. Food was fairly standard Disney fare, same as you’d expect from a chain restaurant at home.
We have a reservation in December. We have a party of 7 and our youngest member is 9. Our teenagers are more excited about this one.
Sound like a fun time will add to my Disney bucket list
So to clarify, the kids do not get the choice of a fruit bowl or yogurt parfait, correct? It’s just the little bit of fruit that comes with their entree?
I too would like to know if they actually sign autographs?
So excited, we booked our first family trip to Disney but we booked it four months out, which meant all the hot reservations were gone. Since this restaurant was announced just two months ago and only opened reservation a month ago, I was able to snag this one. Thanks for the review I am glad that it looks like so much fun.
I notice you said you had Dairy Free waffles. Did you order off an allergy-safe menu? If so, do you remember what the gluten-free options were (or have a picture)? Thanks!
I do not recall the gluten free offerings. I am sorry. I just told the waitress what we would like from memory.
So do they actually sign autographs? Or is the only autograph you can get the one on the card?
Thank you for the prompt review! We have reservations in May and I’ve been anxiously awaiting more details
