You can make packing easier when you have a box of items to pack for Walt Disney World. I keep a box in our closet and add things to it for our trip as I purchase them. Things that I keep in it year round include rain panchos, tubes for pressed pennies, bags for kids outfits (1 complete outfit with socks and underwear per day of the trip) and more.
What do you keep in your box?

I just started doing this last week and patted myself on the back for such a brilliant idea lol. First trip so we need so much. So far I have new toothbrushes, aloe cream, pop up hamper, night light, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, hats, our Halloween costumes for MNSSHP and a few laundry detergent samples from Costco.
We have a box too! We have glow sticks, light chasers, and bubbles for the kids. As well as trading pins, sunscreen and our misting fans. Also all the cute little things I’ve picked up for our trip along the way.
Thanks a good idea
I have a box in my closet also. I find cute disney items like glow sticks that are disney themed and stash them there then pack them without my son seeing them when the fireworks are going and the cast members are walking around with those light up items I pull one of the ones I purchased out of my bag and my son is just as happy with it and I spend $2-$3 versus $5-$10 for almost the same item.
Glow sticks or any light up toy…That way when they want one at the parade your ready…So much cheaper
I’ve been putting stuff to decorate the window at the resort, light up stuff bought at end of summer, stuff to keep us occupied on the plane. I even bought those cooling towels at the end of the summer on clearance at cvs.
I definitely collect things year round and put them in the plastic grocery-style Disney bags! Toiletry samples, clearance items from Disney store or Target for the kids’ travel fun bags, items we didn’t use on our last trip that don’t expire (i.e. moleskin, Disney bandaids, etc.), and any goodies themed Disney I think can be useful!
I definitely always make one of those- I make sure I have their autograph books, click-bottom sharpies, sunscreen sticks, and a Disney-themed First-Aid kit. Lanyards from our last trip, and safety ID bracelets are also in there. I, too, collect samples of bath/beauty/hygiene/medicine items year-round and stash them there. :-) September can’t come fast enough!
Hey! I have one of them :)
Right now there’s two sets of matching shirts for the kids. Our lanyards I got at PartyCity. Each of our “first pins” trading pins. Stickers & mini notebooks for the airplane. Our M&M squished penny holders. Our Hidden Mickey book. I better get on adding more stuff… October is coming quick!
I am so glad I am not the only one! I do the same thing, I starting getting toiletries in travel sizes slowly. (rain ponchos, tooth paste, hair products, and sunblock) I also pack Disney themed goodie bags for my kids while we travel so when I see something cute when I am the Dollar store, Target or Walgreen’s, I start collecting them in a box. It makes me feel like I am doing something to make our vacation come sooner or more magical!
This is a great idea! There’s so many thing we take ONLY to Disney, that are necessities, like the spray fan or misters!
It definitely helps you to not misplace them between trips!
