Planning a trip to Walt Disney World? When you look at the total cost it can be super overwhelming and definitely feel unattainable. But I’ll let you in on a little saving secret…. you gotta break it down.
When you figure out how much you need for your fund, break down into categories. The amount you need for airfare, hotel, tickets, dining, souvenirs, etc. Start saving for each one individually and mark it off your list as you go. Here’s an example:
Airfare – $800
Resort – $700
Tickets – $900
Dining – $750
Souvenirs – $300
I recommend starting with the smallest amount because small victories will make you feel more accomplished. So in this case, you would start by saving $300 to cover the souvenirs on your vacation. Once you have that amount saved, you’d mark it off and set your new budget at $700 for the Resort costs.
It’s a good way to keep you motivated to keep saving! You got this!
